– Shawsheen had a huge 3-1 win over Essex Tech in the Commonwealth Conference. Freshman Justin Thibert scored two goals for the Rams and Dylan Higson added the other. Mike Cedrone was solid in net with 21 saves.
– Dedham beat Dover-Sherborn/Weston 3-2 in a comeback win. Brian Dunne scored with 30 seconds left to tie the game at two and Dylan Stec won it for the Marauders with 13 seconds to spare.
– Norwell continued to roll with a 10-1 win over Middleboro. Austin Shea and Tim Ward led the attack with two goals each. Quinn Simmons, Matt Cerruti, Ryan Johnson, Kevin Leary, Connor Vinton and Patrick Brennan also scored for the 15-1-0 Clippers.
– Rockland earned a big 4-1 win over Cohasset/Hull. Joey Salamone, Bryce Marreo, Cooper Larouco and Shane Kimball all scored for the Bulldogs.
– Nantucket had a 2-0 weekend with a 5-0 win over Martha’s Vineyard and 3-1 win over Mashpee/Monomoy to extend their winning streak to seven. In the first game, Ryan Davis had two goals with Braden Knapp, Canton Jenkinson and Mike Culkins also scoring. On Sunday’s win the Whalers got goals from Culkins, Jenkinson and Jack Billings.
– Norton blanked Medway 7-0 behind big nights from Josh Cohen (3G, 2A), Anthony Santangelo (2G, 1A) and Dylan Cummings (1G, 3A). Freshman Brogan Laverdiere also chipped in a goal.
– Abington had a solid 9-1 win over E/W Bridgewater. Sam McDonald had a five-point night (3G, 2A) and Evan St. Martin chipped in two goals. John Halpin, Hunter Grafton, Jake Quinn and Aidan Powers also scored.
– Sandwich took home the Canal Cup with a 5-0 win over Bourne. Jack Connolly scored two and James Mawhinney, Harry Delman and Chris Cardillo also scored for the Blue Knights.
– Winthrop also had two more big wins over the weekend. On Saturday the Vikings took down Marblehead 7-3 behind Petey Silverman’s hat trick. Phil Boncore scored two and Aiden Survilas and Jack Hayes also scored. The Vikings also beat Beverly 9-0 on Monday led by a four-point night from Hayes (3G, 1A) and two goals from Boncore.
– Boston Latin Academy had a 3-2 overtime win over Hamilton-Wenham. John Driscoll, Ryan Shield and Eamon Vraibel (GWG) all scored for the Dragons. avoin
– Matthew Lavoine had a hat trick to lead Greenfield to a 7-0 win over Southwick. Matt Garvin added a goal and assist to the win.
– Tyler Edwards and Zachary Lizotte both had a goal and assist as Littleton/Bromfield got past Fitchburg/Monty, 2-1.
