Nolan Petrucelli Norwell

* Reigning Division 4 champion Norwell is off to a hot 3-0 start. The Clippers opened the season with a 3-2 win over Nantucket and improved to 2-0 with a 4-1 win over Middleboro. Connor Vinton, Ryan Johnston, Matt Cerruti and Quinn Simmons all scored. The Clippers then beat a tough Grafton team 2-1 with Nolan Petrucelli scoring both goals, including the game-winner shorthanded late in regulation.

Chris Cardillo Sandwich

* Sandwich senior Chris Cardillo earned his 100th career point with a goal in the first period of a win over Cohasset/Hull.. Sandwich then improved to 3-1 with a 4-1 win over Abington. Cardillo, Jack Connolly, Reece MacKinnon and Brayden Ramsey all scored.

Petey Silverman Winthrop

* Winthrop is off to a 3-0 start on the young season. This week they earned two huge victories over Triton and Danvers. The Vikings beat Triton 5-3 with two goals each from Petey Silverman and Mikey Holgersen and an empty-net goal from Colin O’Leary. On Saturday they took down Danvers 7-1. Silverman and Luke Githinji had two goals apiece while Aidan Survilas, Billy Hayes and Robert Rich also scored.

Braden Knapp Nantucket

* After losing their first game to Norwell, Nantucket has looked strong in two wins since then. The Sailors had a thrilling 6-4 win over Nauset where Colby O’Keefe, Canton Jenkinson, Braden Knapp, Mike Culkins, Ryan Davis and Soren Edwardes all scored. They followed that win up with a 4-1 victory over Martha’s Vineyard. O’Keefe led the way with two goals and Knapp and Jeremy Jenkinson also scored.

Luke Dunham Cohasset/Hull

* Cohasset/Hull rebounded after a tough loss to beat E/W Bridgewater 6-2. Luke Dunham had two and Taighe Dwyer, Robbie Casagrande, Mick Dockray and Barrett Kelly also scored for the 1-1 Skippers.

Brayden McKenna Dover-Sherborn/Weston

* Dover-Sherborn/Weston improved to 2-1 on the season with an 8-0 shutout over Bellingham. Brayden McKenna led the way with a hat trick, Christos Rogaris and Patrick Benson scored two goals each and Sam Hinckley also scored.

* Bourne beat Greater New Bedford 10-3 in a complete team win. James Crowell, Dana Leach and Joziah DeSouza all scored twice in the victory and sophomore Drew Kelley had his first varsity goal.

* Hanover started the season off with a 7-1 victory over Plymouth South. Henry Phillips had two goals while Aiden Richards, Matty Reynolds, Cam Scott, Cole Hendrickson and Joe Galvin also scored. The Hawks improved to 2-0 with a 5-1 win over North Quincy. Richards, Phillips, Hendrickson, Cam Melone and Billy Radzik all scored.

* Dighton-Rehoboth/Seekonk started off the season with a 5-1 victory over Medway. Brett Axon, Brady Fitzpatrick each had two goals. Adam Bastis also scored and Sam Bastis had 40 saves in goal.

* Dedham beat Norton 5-1 to improve to 2-1 on the season. Patrick Stamm had two goals for the Marauders and Sam MacDougall, Ryan Laughter and Brian Dunne also scored.

* Littleton/Bromfield defeated Oakmont 6-2 to remain undefeated on the season. Connor Glew and Liam Glew each scored twice while Fin Piekos and Zachary Lizotte each added one.

* West/East Bridgewater opened up their 2023-24 season with a 6-4 win over Rockland. Tyler Henderson and Daniel Vaughn each scored twice. Kyle Greeley and Christian Bates also scored.
