Nolan Petrucelli Norwell

* Norwell improved to 6-1 on the season with a gritty 3-2 win over Hanover. Quinn Simmons led the attack with two goals and Nolan Petrucelli had the other. The Clippers then kept it going Wednesday with a 9-0 win over Rockland. Joe Perniola had two goals, while Petrucelli, Simmons, Charlie Booras, Connor Vinton, Walter Hardiman, Shane Devin and Nick Turco also scored.

Braden Knapp Nantucket

Ryan Davis’s two goals helped Nantucket earn a huge 3-1 win over Division 1 Framingham. Braden Knapp also notched a goal and two assists for the Whalers. They earned their second win of the week Wednesday, shutting out Dennis-Yarmouth with goals by Davis, Knapp, Michael Culkins and Hunter Strojny.

* Chris Cardillo’s four-point night (3G, 1A) helped Sandwich take down Barnstable 6-5. Jack Connolly, Avery Richardson and Brayden Ramsey also scored. Following that the Blue Knights beat East/West Bridgewater 10-1. Richardson and Connolly both had hat tricks in the win.

Braden McKenna Dover-Sherborn/Weston

* Dover-Sherborn/Weston rolled past Watertown/Wayland with goals by Patrick Benson, Calvin Roman, Hunter Hourihan, Rob Morsilli and Sam Hinckley. On Wednesday they beat a good Medway team 3-2 in overtime. Junior Brayden McKenna scored twice and Hinckley also scored.

* Monomoy/Mashpee grabbed a 4-1 win over John Paul II. Logan Puma and Max Cronen each had a goal and assist. Nicholas Garneau scored his first varsity goal, and Gavin O’Leary also had a goal.

* Cooper Larouco’s hat trick powered Rockland past Monomoy/Mashpee 5-1. Patrick McGuirk and Danny Moran also scored for the Bulldogs.

* Lunenburg-Ayer/Shirley won the Mark Bushnoe Tournament beating Fitchburg 2-1. Andrew Nicosia and Dom Benner both scored. They remained undefeated on the season with a 5-1 win over Littleton on Wednesday. Owen Hurley scored twice, while Nicosia, Tyler Fortier and Drew Short also scored.

* John Paul II blanked Quincy 4-0 behind two goals from Braden Shortt. Jon Valiga and Gabe Fitzpatrick also scored for the Lions.

* Hudson shutout Assabet Valley 6-0 on Wednesday. Jordan Sousa and Christian Stevens each had two goals for the Hawks.

* Dighton-Rehoboth/Seekonk doubled up Apponequet 4-2. Aidan Boothe, Brett Axon, Adam Bastis and Brady Fitzpatrick all scored.

* Hanover beat Silver Lake 2-1 in a tight battle. Cam Melone and Pierceson Lee both scored for the Hawks in the big win.

Ty Kelley

* Bourne earned a key win over Abington 5-3. Dana Leach led the attack with two goals and Ty Kelley, Ryan Burgess and James Crowell also scored.

* Wilmington earned a big league win over Wakefield beating them 4-3. Junior Matt O’Brien scored twice for the Wildcats, who also got goals from Daniel Langunilla and Adam Ebert
