Lynnfield continues to roll along, remain in in the top spot in this week’s HNIB News Boys Division 3 Top 10 with a 5-1 win against Pentucket and a 6-1 win against RockportManchester-Essex/Ipswich. The Pioneers will have their unbeaten record put to the test this week as they face D1 Bishop Fenwick Wednesday then head to Martha’s Vineyard where they are scheduled to take on Hopkinton Saturday in the first round of the Fairleigh Dickinson Tournament.

#2 Scituate clinched the Patriot League Fisher Division crown with a 4-1 win against Plymouth South and a 5-2 victory against Hanover. The Sailors are at Barnstable Wednesday.

#3 Medfield notched two more wins, 4-1 against Ashland and 7-3 over Norwood. The win over Norwood clinched the Tri-Valley Large title.

#4 Nauset lost to Falmouth, 2-1 but bounced back by defeating Martha’s Vineyard, 4-0. They are right back at it Monday against Nantucket.

#5 Marlboro shut out Minnechaug, 3-0 and defeated Hopedale 3-2 in overtime to continue its solid play.

Watertown moves up to sixth after a 1-1 tie with Melrose and a 2-1 win against D1 Burlington. The Raiders take on Lowell Catholic Wednesday in the opening round of the Spartan Cup.

#7 Essex Tech (15-1-1) has been idle since its 3-1 loss to Shawsheen Tech on Feb. 4, but did pick up a forfeit win when their postponed game with Matignon was not made up. The Hawks have games against Hamilton-Wenham and Lowell Catholic coming up this week.

#8 Methuen tied Dracut/Tyngsboro, 3-3 and then defeated Haverhill 5-2 Saturday to clinch the MVC/Dual County III league championship. The Rangers face Amesbury Wednesday.

#9 Pembroke tied North Quincy, 2-2 and defeated Quincy, 5-1.

Dracut/Tyngsboro slides back into the rankings this week at #10 after the tie with Methuen and a 1-0 win over North Middlesex.
