Lynnfield remains in the top spot in the HNIB News Massachusetts Boys Division 3 Top 10, winning two more close games over Latin Academy, 3-2 and Gloucester, 4-2. The Pioneers have a stern test Wednesday against Newburyport.
#2 Medfield (3-1-0) was idle, returning to action Wednesday with a Tri-Valley League contest with Ashland.
Scituate holds firm at 3 after a 4-4 tie with D2 Duxbury and a 6-2 victory against Longmeadow.
#4 Pembroke was also idle for the week before beating Rockland Monday 3-2. The Titans face Duxbury on Wednesday,
Nashoba Regional (5-0-2) moves to #5 following a 4-1 win over Winnacunnet of New Hampshire and a 0-0 tie with D1 North Andover.
#6 Hanover (2-3-0) may be under .500 but that is mostly a product of a tough schedule. The Hawks continue that tough trend with Silver Lake (Wednesday) and Scituate (Saturday).
Essex Tech claims the #7 spot after a 6-0 victory against Lowell and a 5-2 win over Swampscott.
Nauset is now #8 after splitting games against Plymouth North (a 4-3 loss) and Newton North (a 7-1 win).
