– Top-ranked Lynnfield clinched its Cape Ann League title with a 5-4 overtime victory against Newburyport on Saturday. Jarrett Scoppetoulo scored the winning goal in overtime. The Pioneers trailed the Clippers, 3-2 before Joe Raffa tied the score at three. Jack Carpenter put Lynnfield ahead with his second goal of the game but Newburyport tied the score, sending the game into overtime. Will Norton also scored for the Pioneers.

– Lynnfield also defeated Triton, 4-2. Joe Raffa, Will Norton, Evan Rocha and Jack Carpenter scored for Lynnfield. Luke Sullivan and Quinn Fidler scored for the Vikings.cvcccc

Triton

– Triton recovered from the loss with a 4-0 win against Hamilton-Wenham. Colin Fidler, Josh Hersey, Quinn Fidler and Connor Rumpf scored.

– Bedford defeated Haverhill, 4-0. Alex Frost scored two goals. Nick Tatorczuk and Christopher Woo scored for the Buccaneers. In Bedford’s 5-1 win against Lowell, Tatorczuk scored two goals. Frost added one and three assists.

Tommy Workman Dracut/Tyngsboro

– Dracut/Tyngsboro qualified for the postseason with a 6-1 win against Amesbury/Whittier Tech. Drew DuRoss and Tommy Workman scored two goals each. Colin Underwood and Matt Lesniak also scored.

– Scituate defeated North Quincy, 9-2. James Sullivan scored two goals. Nate Sanella, Teagen Pratt, Luke Ryan, Jackson Belsan and Timmy Lochiatto also scored. The Sailors also defeated Quincy, 6-0. Pratt and Sanella scored two goals each. Sullivan and Theo Hane added one each. For Hane, it was his first varsity goal.

– Hanover edged Pembroke, 1-0, with Billy Rudzik scoring.

– Pembroke  and Plymouth South played to a 2-2 tie, with Brendan Abban and Kevin Picariello scored for the Titans.

Armani Booth
Essex Tech

– Essex Tech edged Lowell Catholic, 2-1 in overtime on Saturday. Armani Booth scored the winning goal. The Hawks also defeated North Reading, 6-3. Brian DeLisio notched three of Essex’s goals.

Colin Kruez
St. Paul

– St. Paul Diocesan opened up a close game with four third period goals en route to a 5-0 win over Worcester. Colin Kruez led a balanced attack with a goal and two assists.
