There is a new number one in this week’s HNIB News Massachusetts Boys Division 2 Top 10 as Canton has taken over. The Bulldogs continue to impress and earned two more wins this week over Oliver Ames and King Philip.

Tewksbury is at #2. The Redmen snuck past Acton-Boxboro, 3-2, in OT on Saturday. They Redmen have Boston Latin and Concod-Carlisle this week in MVC/Dual County II play.

#3 Silver Lake (8-1-1) stays the same as the Lakers won their lone game of the week against North Quincy 5-1. A key game looms Wednesday with Scituate.

Duxbury (7-3-2) holds down the #4 spot with two more wins this week against Plymouth North and Quincy. The Dragons have a second go with Marshfield on Monday and play #6 Whitman-Hanson on Saturday.

#5 Walpole (5-2-0) had a quiet week with just one game. The Timberwolves beat Milton 3-2 and have a big tilt coming up with Wellesley this weekend.

Whitman-Hanson (6-4-0) moves up to #6 this week. The Panthers have a big week coming with three big games against Nashoba Regional, #8 Plymouth South and #4 Duxbury.  

Algonquin (6-2-1) moves down one spot to #7 as they tied their lone game of the week to Hopedale/Milford.

Plymouth South (8-2-0) comes in at #8. They had a thrilling 4-3 OT win over Scituate and beat Oliver Ames, 2-1. They have a big week with Whitman-Hanson and Hanover on deck.

Hopkinton (8-2-0) moves up one spot after two big wins this week. The Hillers blanked Dedham, 7-0, and took down Bellingham, 10-1.

Rounding out our top 10 is Somerset Berkley (8-0-0) which remains undefeated. They beat Old Rochester in their lone game of the week.
