Tewksbury (19-2-1) will start the 2023-24 campaign at #1 in the HNIB News Massachusetts Boys Division 2 Top 10 with a solid group of returners and promising newcomers. The Redmen will begin their journey which they hope will lead to the TD Garden.

A potentially huge season could be in the works for #2 Norwood (14-7-2). The Mustangs come into the season with a solid lineup and goalie. Look for them to be very competitive.

Last year’s Division 2 State Champion Canton (22-4-0) will start the season at #3. The Bulldogs are hungry to defend their title, but do have some roster spots to fill.

#4 Duxbury (18-6-2) has a core group returning and they should be right in the mix of a very competitive Division 2.

Gloucester (13-8-1) comes in at #5 as coach Derek Geary has a contending group returning, led by senior forwards Colby Jewell and Brett Cunningham.

Despite losing some key pieces, #6 Walpole (15-7-2) still returns a lot and the Timberwolves should be right in the mix.

#7 King Philip (12-6-3) moves down to Division 2 this season and coach Toby Carlow’s group is up for the challenge. It will be interesting to see how the Warriors do.

Malden Catholic (7-11-3) will start the season at #8 as the Lancers have moved into D2 as well. They have a new head coach in Brendan Collier.

#9 Whitman-Hanson (10-10-1) returns key players up front as well as a good mix of newcomers to make for an interesting season.

Rounding out the D2 pre-season top 10 is Silver Lake (16-8-1) which hopes to continue recent success with their new head coach Colin Foley.
