* Boston Latin won its fifth straight game beating Needham 4-1. Tyler O’Brien netted a hat trick for the Wolfpack. Tristan Spiess also scored and Owen Guerard was solid in net.

* Freshman Rowan Gerr had two goals as Mansfield slipped past North Attleboro, 4-3, at the Songin Cup. Tom Gormley and Matt Tourigney each had a goal and assist.

David Pittenger Duxbury

* Duxbury doubled up Arlington Catholic 6-3 in the first round of the Buddy Ferreira Classic. David Pittenger (2G, 1A) led the way for the Dragons. Will Atallah, Chris Gillis, Brady Walsh and Mike Yucius all had a goal and an assist.

* Parker Winn’s overtime winner gave Hopkinton a 5-4 win over Martha’s Vineyard in the first round of the Fairleigh Dickinson Tournament. James Hayward (2G, 2A) had a big night for the Hillers who also got goals from Aiden Colleary and Jake Adams.

* Lowell Catholic blanked Minutemen 10-0. Brendan Bulmer and Matt Lumia each notched a pair of goals. Colin Robinson added a goal and three assists.

Luke Tropeano Whitman-Hanson

* Whitman-Hanson beat Plymouth South in comeback fashion 4-2. Luke Tropeano, Domenic Visocchi, Chris Ryan and Alex Ethier all scored for the Panthers.

TJ Martin

* Norwood shutout Dedham 3-0. Jason Gillis, TJ Martin and Sam Lally all scored for the Mustangs. Zach Badger earned the shutout in net with 20 saves.

* Newburyport earned a big 4-0 shutout win over North Andover in the opening round of the Newburyport Bank Classic. Jack Sullivan (2), Tristan Joyce and Kane Brennan each scored for the Clippers.

Bodie Marcotte Amesbury

* Freshman Roman Gerr’s two goals helped Mansfield beat North Attleboro 4-3. Matt Tourigney and Thomas Gormley also scored.

* Amesbury continued their solid play of late with a 6-3 win over Rockport. Bodie Marcotte and Joey Duggan each scored a pair. Wes Ackerman and Logan Pickering added single tallies.
