* An Avery Powers hat trick was instrumental in leading Woburn to a 3-2 win over Burlington in a Middlesex League clash.

Danny Viscione Billerica

* Billerica earned a huge league win over D1 Andover 6-2. Daniel Viscione led the attack with two goals. James Columbus, William Costa, Edward Conley and Tim Murphy also scored for the Indians.

* Plymouth North and Whitman-Hanson skated to a 1-1 tie. Alex Ethier scored for the Panthers and Owen Kelly for the Eagles.

Andrew Gillis

* Norwood earned two big wins over the weekend. First they beat Medway 5-2 behind a five-point game (2G, 3A) for Andrew Gillis. The Mustangs also snuck by Weymouth 2-1 to advance to the semi-finals of the Brinn Division in the Ed Burns tournament. Gillis and TJ Martin both scored and Anthony Amato had 32 saves between the pipes.

* Hopkinton had a comeback 2-1 win over Dedham. Wyatt Iantosca scored the game winner for the Hillers. James Hayward also scored and Connor Spavento earned his first career win in net.

Johnny Mireault Masconomet

* Masconomet skated by Bishop Fenwick 4-1. John Miga, Ben Merrill, Johnny Mireault and Evan Collins all scored for the Chieftains.

Sean McNamara Plymouth South

* Plymouth South got back in the win column with an 8-2 win over Quincy. Logan Souza (3G, 2A) and Sean McNamara (2G, 2A) led the way. Mickey Grealis, Tim Nagle and Mike Berlo all scored their first varsity goals.

Ryan Walsh

* Walpole had a solid weekend with two wins. The Timberwolves beat Brookline 6-1 on Saturday behind two goals from Ryan Walsh. They had a huge 4-3 comeback win over Wellesley in the Ed Burns tournament on Sunday. Mike Bisceglia (2), Zack Donahue and Owen McKenna all scored.

* Matthew Carrara’s overtime winner gave Boston Latin a 2-1 win over Acton-Boxboro. William Cunniffe also scored for the Wolfpack.

* King Philip held on for a 2-1 win over Westwood. Rowan Boulger scored both goals for the Warriors.

* Lowell Catholic earned a hard-fought 3-1 win over Groton-Dunstable. Senior Danny Parent scored a pair of goals and Jake Cabral added a single tally.

* Make it 14 straight for #1 Concord-Carlisle, which beat Waltham 3-1. Jay Carter, Will Manchuso and Cam Doull all scored. CJ Bailey had 34 saves in net.

* Tewksbury shut out Winchester 3-0 in the opening round of the Ed Burns tournament. Jeremy Insogna, Michael Macauda and Kevin Andriolo all scored for the Redmen.
