– Marshfield took home the championship of the Doherty Division of the Ed Burns Coffee Pot Classic, getting a goal in the second overtime from Cam McGettrick to edge Hingham, 6-5, in an up-and-down thriller. – Bishop Fenwick had a nice road win, travelling to Andover and coming away with a 5-2 win. Manny Alvarez-Segee scored two goals to pace the attack. Gerry Visconti, Matt O’Connor and Mark Wilson added goals for the Crusaders.

Jeremy Auren and Davin Nichols had the goals as Framingham got past Burlington, 2-1, in an Ed Burns Classic consolation game.

Dom Walecka Catholic Memorial

Dom Walecka made 23 saves and sophomore Connor Fryberger had a hat trick as now top-ranked Catholic Memorial closed out its Catholic Conference slate with a 4-0 win over BC High. Dylan LaMonica also had a goal.

Anthony DeVito notched two goals to lead the offense in Austin Prep’s 4-0 win over Winchester.

Nick Fasano Braintree

Nick Fasano, Charlie DiMartino and Nolan Leonard all had a goal and assist as Braintree downed Weymouth, 5-2. Owen Flynn and Colin Gaffney had goals as well. On Sunday, DiMartino and Kyle Hutchinson scored in a 2-2 standoff with Arlington.

Jimmy Fallon
Milton

Jimmy Fallon had a hat trick, and Kevin McManus had a goal and two assists to power Milton to an 8-0 win over Newton North.

– Malden Catholic doubled up St. John’s (S) 4-2 with goals from Owen Keefe, Nick Julian, Will Fosdick and Bob Ghergerovich. Seamus Condon had three assists and Brendan Zinck had 22 saves.

– In the annual Derek Hines Memorial game, St. John’s Prep got two goals each from Jake Vana and Jimmy Ayers in a 7-2 win over Newburyport. Paul Santosuosso, Mike Van Sicklin and Cam Umlah contributed a goal apiece.

Ryan Gilbert Arlington

– Down 2-0 in the third period, Belmont rallied to forge a 2-2 tie with Woburn on goals from Matty Rowan and Cam Fici. Jackson Powers had both goals for the Tanners.

Ryan Gilbert‘s overtime strike was the difference in Arlington’s 3-2 win over Reading. Brendan Hirsch and Jack Sadowski also lit the lamp for the Spy Ponders.
