* Hingham continued its recovery from it early-season woes as it dealt Arlington its first loss, 4-1. Aidan Brazel scored twice, Bill Jacobus and Drew Carleton each scored, and the Harbormen got 24 saves from goalie Luke Merian.

*Jack Sadowski and Brendan Hirsch both scored twice and Jake Davies made 20 saves for the third-ranked Spy Ponders (6-0) in the Middlesex League shutout at O’Brien Arena.

* Mark Wilson and Manny Sagee had the goals as Bishop Fenwick edged Archbishop Williams , 2-1, in Catholic Central Large action.

Nick Souretis Marshfield

*In the Patriot League, Jack Croft, Will Doherty, Nick Souretis, and Jake Hemingway scored as Marshfield topped North Quincy, 4-1.

* Junior forward Thomas Franzosa scored twice as Bishop Feehan surprised St. Mary’s, 5-2, also in the Catholic Central Large.

* Weymouth got two goals from Ryan Kane and Jack Brady scored his first varsity goal, driving the Wildcats past Walpole, 5-3.

Aidan Magner slide puck under Central Catholic goalie Michael Brothers for Andover’s lone goal in 4-1 Red Raider win.

* North Andover could not solve Newton South goalie Dylan Zukowski, and the Lions posted the 2-0 shutout in the MVC/DCL One. South got goals from Ryan Quirk and Daniel Schwartzman.

* Waltham tripped up Shrewsbury, 2-1, on Kevin Dann’s game-winner with 2:42 left in overtime, in the MVC/DCL One.

* Michael Brothers had 23 saves while Brandon Maiuri, Sean Gray, Brady Rickenbach and Cam Jankowski scored as Central Catholic handled Andover, 4-1, in the MVC/DCL One

*Undefeated Belmont’s Cam Fici scored both goals and Ryan Griffin made 22 saves to earn the 2-0 Middlesex Liberty Division shutout over Reading.
