Evan Cormier Waltham

* Defenseman Evan Cormier was the hero for Waltham, scoring an overtime goal to give the Hawks a 4-3 win over D2’s #1 ranked team Tewksbury, 4-3.

* Weymouth snapped a five-game losing streak, toppling Braintree, 6-4, in the Bay State Conference. Johnny Bell had two goals for the Wildcats. Jack Browning, Johnny Haley, Ryan Ferguson and Jack Brady each had a goal, and Alex Stockton had three assists.

* Needham shaded Framingham, 3-2. Connor Espinola made 30 saves for the Rockets, who got goals from Ryan DiNicola, Nick Sewall and the game-winner from defenseman Jake Sieczkowski.

* Ryan Nelken and Nick Burns had the goals and Tyler Frazee notched the shutout as Westford Academy picked up a big MVC/Dual County I win, a 2-0 shutout of Andover. The win assured the Ghosts at least a tie for the league championship with one game remaining.
