* Bishop Fenwick got 40 saves from freshman netminder Warren Dubois, and goals from Anthony Sasso, Joey Marshall and Joe DeBernardo to tie King Philip 3-3 in a non-league affair.

* Goals by Aidan Pinet and Adam Godfrey, and 23 saves from Jake McLean were the difference as Central Catholic stunned Xaverian, 2-0.

* In an MIAA Endowment Game at The Olympia, #6 Reading jumped to an early 2-0 lead and held on for a 3-1 win over #3 Pope Francis. Cam Fahey and Ryan MacCurtain each had a goal, and freshman Connor Leminen notched his first varsity goal. Chris Hanifan and Owen Holland were both solid in net for the Rockets. This result will not count in either teams’ record for MIAA Power Seeding purposes.

* Shrewsbury stayed hot, downing Chelmsford 4-1 getting a pair of goals from Nick McManus and single tallies by Anthony Nuzzolilo and Shawn Salt.

* Two goals and an assist each from Luke Sardone and Chris McCarthy powered Winchester to a 6-3 win over Malden Catholic. Danny Collins added a goal and two assists, and David Strong also scored for the Red & Black.

* Archbishop Williams escaped in a non-league tussle with Milton, getting an overtime strike from Ben Sylvester to take a 5-4 win over the Wildcats.

* Burlington got back to the .500 mark after a 5-2 win over Brookline. Seumas McMakin scored twice for the Red Devils. Also scoring was Charlie Andriolo, Jackson Powers and James Gordon, who also had three assists.

Hingham

* Two goals from Cam McKenna were key in Hingham’s 4-1 win over St. Mary’s. Colin Lasch and Travis Rugg added goals for the Harbormen.

Owen Welch
BC High

* Goals by Max Ryan, Tommy Halloran, David Williams and Owen Welch were all BC High needed in a 4-2 Catholic Conference win over Malden Catholic. Liam Kinneen and James Greer each had two assists.

* First period goals by Christian Rosa, Mason Luciano, Johnny Tighe and Caleb White were huge as St. John’s Prep defeated Catholic Memorial, 4-1.

* Xaverian cooled off St. John’s (S), 7-4, keyed by a four-goal first period blitz. Devin Gosciak led a balanced attack for the Hawks with two goals. Also hitting the scoresheet were Ryan Bello, Colin Callahan, Dan Gentile, Jack O’Neil and Jackson Morse.

Reading

* In a key Middlesex League showdown on Saturday, Reading blanked Arlington, 4-0 at Ed Burns Arena, getting two goals from Cam Fahey, a goal and assist from Matt Fichera, and a goal by Nate Mulvey. Jack Melly contributed a pair of assists for the Rockets.

Matt Mulhern Westford Acad.

* Goals by Matt Mulhern, Ryan Nelken and Aiden Koehr powered Westford Academy past Andover, 3-0. Nick Burns chipped in with two assists, and Tyler Frazee pitched the shutout in goal with 17 saves.

* Alex Peck scored two goals, including the overtime game-winner in Natick’s 3-2 win over Milton. Jack Byrne had the Redhawks other goal, his first varsity marker.
