Edward Little remains the top team through two weeks of play. They have outscored their opponents 20-1 through the first four games of the season, including a 6-0 win over Scarborough on Wednesday. They face St. Dom’s in the opening round of the St. Dom’s Christmas Classic on Monday which will be an MPA regular season game. The remaining two games of the tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday will be exhibition games.

No. 2 South Portland/Waynflete/Freeport moves up five spots with wins over Falmouth and Lewiston start the year and a 5-1 against Portland/Deering this past Wednesday. They host Bangor this coming Thursday.

No. 3 Thornton Academy has wins against Kennebunk/Wells and St. Dom’s to start the year. They face Falmouth on Tuesday and Scarborough on Thursday.

Lewiston drops down to No. 4 with its loss to the Red Riots. The Blue Devils bounced back Wednesday with an 11-3 win against St. Dom’s. They are taking part in the St. Dom’s Christmas Classic Monday-Wednesday which will be all exhibition games. On Thursday, they take on Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle/Sacopee in a regular season game.

Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle/Sacopee enters the poll at No. 5. This past
Wednesday, they defeated Gorham 2-1. They have home games against Brunswick on Wednesday and Lewiston on Thursday.

No. 6 Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse defeated Maranacook/Winthrop/Spruce Mountain/Hall-Dale/Lawrence 4-3 on Wednesday. They host Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester on Monday and travel to Portland/Deering on Thursday.

No. 7 Fryeburg/Lake Region/Oxford Hills defeated Gorham 4-2 on Monday. Biddeford/Massabesic/Old Orchard comes to town on Tuesday.
