Falmouth 6, Thornton Academy 3
Aaron Higgins scored twice and had two assists in the Navigators’ victory over the Golden Trojans. Rowan Hagerty scored twice and Mitch Ham had a goal and three assists. Andrew Belliveau also scored. Heath McLean had two goals and Brady Pecora had a tally for Thornton Academy. Porter Krause had 24 saves in the losing effort.
St. Dom’s 3, Bangor 1
Ben Dumais scored twice and Riley Daigle potted a goal in the Saints’ victory over the Rams. Miles Frenette, Erik Jones, Curtis Wheeler, and Luke Davidson had the assists. Jayden Lynn stopped 18 shots for St. Dom’s. Zachary Lindquist scored for the Rams with Myles Randall recording the helper. Liam Doughty made 18 saves in the loss.
Edward Little 4, Bangor 1
Andrew Clements had a goal and an assist for the Red Eddies in the three-goal victory over the Rams. Peyton Dyer, Brooks Hefty, and Campbell Cassidy also scored. Bangor’s Ty Walker scored in the second period. Gage Ducharme made 17 saves for Edward Little and Liam Doughty had 22 saves for Bangor.
Brunswick 2, Thornton Academy 1, OT
AJ Wolverton potted the game-winning goal to give the Dragons a victory over the Golden Trojans. Wolverton evened the game at 1-1 in the second period. Zach Stern-Hayes had the assist. Kyle Lesieur gave Thornton Academy a 1-0 lead in the first period. Luke Patterson stopped 37 shots in the win and Drew Johnson only needed to make 12 saves.
Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester 2, Gorham 1
Breck Langevin scored late in the third period to give the Leavitt/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill/Poland boys hockey team a 2-1 victory over the Gorham. Langevin received a pass in the neutral zone and skated along the left wing and his wrist shot beat Gorham goalie Jasper Crane (27 saves). Defenseman Jamison Bergeron made the pass and had the assist. The Kings (3-5) took a 1-0 when Will Keach beat Crane nearly 10 minutes into the first period. Hunter Bussiere and Conner Bouley had the assists. Gorham (4-6) tied it with a minute to play in the period as Cam Whittemore shot a loose puck in front of the crease on a power play. Corliss Ordway had the assist. Kade Knight made 16 saves for the Kings.
Old Town/Orono 6, Brewer 3
Ian Bouchard had a hat trick and an assist for the Black Bears in the win over the Witches. Dylan Davis had a pair of goals and three assists. Alex McCannell had a goal and two assists. Brock Parks made 27 saves in goal for Old Town/Orono. Cam Dostie had two goals and an assist and Grady Vanidestine had a goal for Brewer. Calvin Grass had 28 saves in the loss.
Brunswick 2, Hampden Academy 1
Luke Patterson stopped 21 shots for the Dragons in the win against the Broncos. AJ Wolverton had a goal and an assist in the victory. Brady LaForge also scored. Aaron Donovan stopped 31 shots for Hampden Academy and Andrew Crouse tallied a goal.
