Lake Region/Oxford Hills/Fryeburg Academy 2, Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill 1

After two scoreless periods, the Lake Region/Oxford Hills/Fryeburg Academy Ice Cats came away with the 2-1 victory over the Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill 26ers. Peter Misner opened up the scoring 63 seconds into the third period for the Ice Cats with the assists going to Evan Kellough and Connor Bickford. Kellough scored with 2:27 remaining with Noah Smith notching the assist. Deryk Belanger scored with one second left for the 26ers. David Long made 28 saves in the victory while Nick Hemond stopped 23 in the loss.

St. Dom’s 3, Thornton Academy 0

JD Hodsdon had a goal and an assist to lead the St. Dominic Academy Saints to a 3-0 victory over the Thornton Academy Golden Trojans. Brad Berube and Noah Toussaint also scored for the Saints while Nathan and Cooper Richards had an assist each. Alex Michaud made 14 saves for the shutout while Andrew Huot stopped 30 shots in the losing effort for Thornton.

Cheverus 1, Scarborough 1, OT

The Cheverus Stags scored in the final seconds of regulation to earn a 1-1 tie with the Scarborough Red Storm. Quinton Farr was given credit for the goal. Matt Caron picked up Scarborough’s lone tally of the contest. Kyle Severance  made 33 saves for Cheverus while Ben Bragg made 32 stops for Scarborough.

Portland/Deering 4, South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete 1

The Portland/Deering Rams had four different goal scorers in their 4-1 victory over South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete Red Riots. Phil McCallum, Brent Rickett, Dominic Tocci and Mason Martell were the goal scorers while Alex Girsch made 19 saves for the victory. Aidan Schifano  notched the lone goal for the Red Riots and Joe Grant stopped 28 shots in the loss.

Noble/Wells 8, Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach/Bonny Eagle 4

Dean Pratt notched a hat trick as the Noble/Wells Knights defeated Old Orchard Beach/Bonny Eagle 8-4. Noah Pease and Nathan DeWolf also had two goals in the victory. Evan Whitten also scored for the Knights. Cameron Roy and Kyle Whitten had two goals for Old Orchard Beach/Bonny Eagle.

St. Dom’s 4, Biddeford 2

Brad Berube had a pair of goals and Noah Toussaint had a goal and three assists to lead the St. Dominic Academy Saints to the 4-2 victory over Biddeford Tigers. Caleb Labrie had a goal and two assists in the victory while Ridge Servidio made 21 saves in the victory. Ricky Ruck and Cody Sevigny scored for the Tigers while Brandon Daigle made 14 saves.

Lewiston 4, Thornton Academy 2

Lewiston scored three times in the third period to en route to a 4-2 victory. Brendon Croteau, Jean-Luc Dostie, Joey Frechette and Griffin Wade all scored for the Blue Devils. Nick Hawk stopped six shots in the victory. Chandler Bilodeau and Eric Profenno scored for Thornton Academy while Christopher Camire  stopped 31 shots in his first career start.

Brunswick 6, Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill 3

TJ Sullivan had two goals to help lead the Brunswick Tigers to the 6-3 victory over the Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill 26ers. Jared Parent, Jacob Towle, and Jacob McGowan also scored for the Dragons. Devin Allard  stopped 34 of 37 shots in the victory while Nick Hemond stopped 17 in the losing effort. Ethan Cailler had two goals for the 26ers.

Lawrence/Skowhegan 5, Edward Little 2

Andrew Carpenter factored in all five goals for the Lawrence/Skowhegan Bandits as he had a hat trick and two assists in the 5-2 victory over the Edward Little Red Eddies. Cody Martin and Trey Michonski each had three points as they both notched a goal and two assists. Ryan Rady scored both goals for the Red Eddies.


Yarmouth 3, Waterville 3, OT

The Yarmouth Clippers and the Waterville Purple Panthers skated to a 3-3 draw Saturday night. Andrew Roderigue had two goals for Waterville while teammate Dalton Henderson had the other. For Yarmouth Patrick Grant,  David Gerken, Matthew Madrid all scored while Cooper May had two assists. Nick Allen made 20 saves for Yarmouth while and Nathan Pinnette stopped 15 shots for Waterville.

Messalonskee 4, Bangor 2

In one of the must see games of the week, the Messalonskee Eagles came away with the 4-2 victory over the Bangor Rams. Jared Cunningham had a hand in all four goals as he picked up a pair of goals and two assists. Brandon Nale and Jake Dexter also contributed in the victory as they had a goal apiece. Brennan Cane and Coleman Pray had the Rams goals.

Brewer 7, Presque Isle 2

The Brewer Witches had a pair of hat tricks as Gabe Valley and Dylan Severance each scored three times in the 7-2 victory over the Presque Isle Wildcats. Zachary Duncan also scored in the win and Tyler Friel made 18 saves for the victory in net. Craig Schiff and Colin Daigle scored for the Wildcats.

Yarmouth 9, Maranacook/Hall-Dale/Winthrop 1

Cooper May and Chris Romano  each had a pair of goals to help the Yarmouth Clippers to a 9-1 victory over Maranacook/Hall-Dale/Winthrop. May also had a pair of assists and Romano added a helper as well. Walter Conrad had three points as well notching a goal and two assists while David Gerken finished the game with a goal and an assist. William Jacobs, Noah Grondin, and Owen Ramsay also scored in the win.
