No. 1 Falmouth finished the regular season with a 7-2 win against Biddeford/Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach and a 7-1 victory win over St. Dom’s. The Navigators are the top seed in the Class A playoffs and will take on the winner of the prelim game between St Dom’s vs. Lewiston in the quarterfinals. The St. Dom’s-Lewiston game is Wednesday at 6 p.m. at The Colisee.

No. 2 Edward Little defeated Fryeburg/Lake Region/Oxford Hills 4-0 and Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle/Sacopee 5-0. The Red Eddies enter the playoffs as the third seed and will host sixth-seed Bangor on Friday at 8 p.m.

No. 3 Thornton Academy defeated Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Hyde 9-0 to close out the regular season. The Golden Trojans are the second-seed in the A playoffs and will host the seventh-seed Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble in the quarters.

No. 4 South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete defeated Scarborough 2-0 . The win for the Red Riots wasn’t enough to jump the Red Storm in the Heal Points as Scarborough enters the playoffs as the fourth seed .06 Heal Points ahead of fifth-seeded South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete. The teams meet in the quarterfinals.

Scarborough is No. 5 in this latest HNIB News Maine Class A Top 7.

No. 6 Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble earned ties against Gorham (2-2) and York (3-3).

No. 7 Bangor defeated Lewiston 4-1 in the regular season finale.
