Presque Isle takes the top spot in this week’s HNIB News Maine Class B Top 10 with wins over with a 3-2 win over the John Bapst co-op on Monday, an 8-2 win over Gardiner/Waterville/Winslow on Wednesday, and notching a 4-0 shutout of previously top-ranked Messalonskee on Saturday. The Wildcats host Camden Hills on Friday and have a rematch with Gardiner/Waterville/Winslow on Saturday.

No. 2 Greely defeated Kennebunk/Wells 2-1 on Monday and had a 5-1 win over Cape Elizabeth on Saturday. The Rangers welcome Cape Elizabeth on Thursday and the Mt. Ararat co-op on Saturday.

No. 3 Yarmouth/Cheverus lost to York 5-2 on Saturday. Cheverus/York has Cape Elizabeth on Monday, Thornton Academy on Thursday and Edward Little on Saturday.

No. 4 Messalonskee fell 2-1 to Brewer/Lawrence/Skowhegan on Monday before losing to Presque Isle. The Eagles host the Cony co-op on Tuesday before traveling to Brunswick/Freeport on Thursday and welcoming Hamden/Nokomis on Saturday.

No. 5 Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester defeated Gorham 4-1 on Saturday and will travel to Kennebunk/Wells next Saturday.

No. 6 York defeated Yarmouth/Cheverus on Saturday and will travel to Scarborough on Wednesday and host Gorham on Wednesday.

No. 7 Cony/Monmouth/Erskine/Mt. Blue/Richmond defeated the John Bapst Co-op 5-2 on Saturday. After facing Messalonskke, the Rams travel to Old Town/Orono on Thursday.

No. 8 Gorham defeated Cape Elizabeth 5-2 on Thursday before the loss to Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester. The Rams face York on Saturday.

No. 9 Camden Hills was idle and will face Presque Isle on Friday.

No. 10 Hampden Academy/Nokomis skated to a 3-3 tie with the Brewer Co-op and defeated the Houlton Co-op 5-1 on Saturday. The Broncos have Orono/Old Town on Tuesday and Messalonskee on Saturday.
