Messalonskee defeated Presque Isle 4-2 and Brewer/Lawrence 10-1 this week to maintain the #1 spot in this week’s HNIB News Maine Class B Top 10. The Eagles host Cony/Monmouth/Erskine/Hall-Dale/Winthrop on Tuesday and travel to Houlton/Hodgdon/Katahdin on Saturday.

No. 2. Brunswick defeated Gorham 5-2, Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester 6-1 and Cape Elizabeth 4-1 on Saturday to take over the second spot. This week the Dragons travel to Kennebunk/Wells on Monday.

No. 3 Cape Elizabeth had an 8-1 win against Kennebunk/Wells before the loss to Brunswick. The Capers travel to York on Wednesday and host Biddeford/Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach on Saturday.

No. 4 John Bapst/Hermon/Bangor Christian/Deer Isle-Stonington defeated Hamden Academy 5-1 and Houlton/Hodgdon/Katahdin 11-1. The Crusaders host Bangor on Saturday.

No. 5 Camden Hills defeated Greely 11-0 on Saturday. The Windjammers travel to Hampden Academy on Thursday and host Old Town/Orono on Saturday.

No. 6 Presque Isle bounced back after its loss to Messalonskee with a 5-3 win against Gardiner/Waterville/Winslow.

No. 7 Hampden Academy looks to rebound from its loss to John Bapst/Hermon/Bangor Christian/Deer Isle-Stonington against Camden Hills on Thursday. The Wildcats travel to Houlton/Hodgdon/Katahdin on Thursday and Brewer/Lawrence on Saturday.

No. 8 Yarmouth/Cheverus enters the rankings after a 1-0 win over Gorham and a 4-1 win against Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester.

No. 9 York started the week with a 4-2 win over Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester before dropping a 2-0 decision to Greely and bouncing back with a 5-2 win against Gorham on Saturday. After hosting Cape Elizabeth on Wednesday, the Wildcats also host Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle/Sacopee Valley on Saturday.

No. 10 Brewer/Lawrence will look to bounce back from the loss to Messalonskee by traveling to Gardiner/Waterville/Winslow on Wednesday and hosting Presque Isle.
