No. 1 Brunswick had back-to-back 2-1 victories this week over Hampden Academy and Thornton Academy, the previous No. 1 team in Class A to move into the top spot in this week’s HNIB News Maine Class B Top 10. The Dragons face rival Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Hyde on Monday and travel to Cape Elizabeth on Thursday.

No. 2 Messalonskee is still undefeated after an 11-0 win over Old Town/Orono on Saturday. The Eagles travel to face Hampden Academy on Monday and host on Bapst/Hermon/Bangor Christian/Deer Isle-Stonington this Saturday.

No. 3 Cape Elizabeth defeated Greely 9-2 this week. The Capers travel to Camden Hills on Wednesday before the showdown with Brunswick.

No. 4 Yarmouth/Cheverus defeated Gorham 4-2 on Saturday. They host Greely on Thursday and travel to York on Saturday.

No. 5 John Bapst/Hermon/Bangor Christian/Deer Isle-Stonington defeated Camden Hills 11-0 on Friday and a 5-4 win over Presque Isle on Saturday. The Crusaders travel to Cony/Monmouth/Erskine/Hall-Dale/Winthrop on Thursday and Messalonskee on Saturday.

No. 6 Hampden Academy defeated Brewer/Lawrence 6-2 before losing to Brunswick on Thursday. The Broncos bounced back with a 3-2 win over Gardiner/Waterville/Winslow on Saturday. The Broncos host Messalonskee Monday and Presque Isle on Friday.

No. 7 Presque Isle looks to bounce back from its loss to John Bapst/Hermon/Bangor Christian/Deer Isle-Stonington as they travel to Hampden Academy on Friday and Gardiner/Waterville/Winslow on Saturday.

No. 8 York was idle this week and the Wildcats host Yarmouth/Cheverus on Saturday.

No. 9 Camden Hills also had a 3-1 loss to Brewer/Lawrence on Saturday after the loss to John Bapst/Hermon/Bangor Christian/Deer Isle-Stonington on Friday. The Windjammers host Cape Elizabeth on Wednesday and Houlton/Hodgdon/Katahdin on Saturday.

No. 10 Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester defeated Gorham 2-1 on Wednesday and had a 3-2 win over Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle/Sacopee Valley on Saturday. The Kings host Fryeburg/Lake Region/Oxford Hills on Friday and visit Greely on Saturday.
