No. 1 Cape Elizabeth defeated Gorham 5-3 and Kennebunk 8-0 to remain in the top spot in the HNIB News Maine Class A Top 7. The Capers travel to Lewiston Wednesday, Camden Hills on Thursday and Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester on Saturday.

No. 2 Messalonskee defeated Cony/Monmouth/Erskine/Hall-Dale/Winthrop and squeaked out a 5-4 overtime win against Brewer/Lawrence. The Eagles travel to Gardiner/Waterville/Winslow on Monday and Cheverus/Yarmouth on Saturday.

No. 3 Brunswick skated to a 3-3 tie with Yarmouth/Cheverus and held off York with a 5-4 win. The Dragons have a home-and-home with Greely on Thursday and Saturday this week.

No. 4 John Bapst/Hermon/Bangor Christian/Deer Isle-Stonington defeated Presque Isle 5-3. The game with Hampden Academy on Saturday was postponed due to a rink issue. The Crusaders host Old Town/Orono on Friday and Brewer/Lawrence on Saturday.

After the tie with Brunswick, #5 Yarmouth/Cheverus defeated Greely 3-1 on Saturday. They travel to Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester on Wednesday before hosting Messalonskee on Saturday.

No. 6 Presque Isle‘s lone game of the week was against John Bapst/Hermon/Bangor Christian/Deer Isle-Stonington. A game against Orono/Old Town was postponed on Friday. The Wildcats travel to Camden Hills Wednesday, Cony/Monmouth/Erskine/Hall-Dale/Winthrop on Friday and Hampden Academy on Saturday.

No. 7 Camden Hills was idle this week. The Windjammers are back in action hosting Presque Isle on Wednesday, Cape Elizabeth on Thursday, and Cony/Monmouth/Erskine/Hall-Dale/Winthrop on Saturday.

No. 8 Hampden Academy defeated Old Town/Orono 6-1. The Broncos face Bangor Wednesday and Presque Isle on Saturday.

No. 9 Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester defeated St. Dom’s 8-3 Wednesday before losing to Gorham 4-1 on Saturday. The Kings host Yarmouth/Cheverus on Wednesday and Cape Elizabeth on Saturday.

No. 10 York defeated Greely 5-4 on Tuesday, and Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble 4-2 on Wednesday before suffering that loss to Brunswick on Saturday. The Wildcats host Kennebunk/Wells on Wednesday and Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills on Saturday.
