Tanner Anctil had a hat trick and an assist in the Blue Devils’ win over the Trail Blazers. Two of Anctil’s goals came in a 55-second span while Lewiston was shorthanded. Eithan Blue, and Andrew Therrien also scored in the win. Evan Greaton made 20 saves in the win. Aiden Harpswell had a goal and an assist for the Trail Blazers, while Bobby Fothergill scored. Porter Krause stopped 40 shots in the loss. Lewiston will take on No. 1 Edward Little on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the quarterfinals.

No. 7 Scarborough 6, No. 10 Portland/Deering 5, OT

Wyatt Grondin scored the game-winner in overtime for the Red Storm’s win over the Bulldogs. Sam Rumelhart, who assisted on the goal, potted two goals in the win. Olin Pedersen scored twice and Jordan Sheppard had a goal for Scarborough. Keegan Wood made 21 saves in the win. Andrew Legere scored twice for Portland/Deering, including the game-tying goal with 27 seconds left to force OT. Colby Winship, Nick Walsh, and Carlos Braceras also scored for the Bulldogs. Ryan Becker made 30 saves in the loss. Scarborough will face No. 2 Bangor in the quarterfinal round Friday.

No. 6 Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills 4, No. 11 Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble 3, 4OT

Owen Galligan sent the Ice Cats into the quarterfinals with a goal in the fourth overtime to defeat the Knighthawks. Wyatt Knightly and Caleb Micklon scored in the second period for the Ice Cats, while Kaden Neureuther had a goal in the first period. Thomas Demeroto scored in the opening period for the Knighthawks. The Knighthawks forced overtime with third-period goals by Sam Knowles and Joshua Sawyer. The Ice Cats take on No. 3 South Portland this weekend.

No. 5 Thornton Academy 3, No. 12 Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse 1

The Golden Trojans scored twice in the third period en route to a win over the Eagles. Gavin Pellerin scored the eventual game-winning goal and Evan Beaudette scored with an empty net. Thornton scored in the second period when an Eagles player knocked the puck in their own net. Alan Verreault was given credit for the goal. Gage Tarbox-Belanger stopped 21 shots in the win. Zander Kirk tied the game at 1-1 in the second period for Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse. Sean Moore made 48 saves in the losing effort. Thornton will face Falmouth Friday at 5:10 p.m. in the quarterfinals.

No. 4 Falmouth 7, No. 13 Biddeford/Massabesic/Old Orchard 1

Xavier Grenier scored twice and added three assists in the Navigators’ win over the Tigers. Mitch Ham had two goals and an assist in the win. Sean MacDonald had a goal and two assists, while Charlie Adams had a goal and an assist. Nick Fischetto also scored. Brandon White made 23 saves for Falmouth.

No. 3 South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete 5, No. 14 St. Dominic Academy 1

Dylan Hannan scored twice to lead the Red Riots to a win over the Saints. His goals came in the second and third periods. Cullen Adams scored in the first period while Ian Wright and Brady Frank had goals in the second period. Colin Casserly scored for St. Dom’s in the second period.
