Dante Tocci notched the game-winning goal in the third period to give the Bulldogs the win. Whitfield Steele had the assist. The Ice Cats took a 1-0 lead in the second period with Eddie Thurston finding the back of the net. Nick McGonagle finished off a feed from Max Cheever late in the second period to tie the game for Portland/Deering. Ryan Becker made 20 saves in the win while Dominic Zimmel stopped 28 shots for Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills.
Portland/Deering 2, Biddeford/Massabesic/Old Orchard 1
The Bulldogs came from behind to defeat the Tigers. Dante Tocci scored the tying marker in the second period from Mikias Silva while Nick Becker scored in the third for the game-winner. Nick McGonagle and Colby Winship had the assists. Caden Petit scored for the Tigers early in the second period. Ryan Becker made 10 saves for the Bulldogs while Gavin Sperlich made 25 saves for the Tigers.
St. Dom’s 5, Bangor 2
Jacob Lewis had a hat trick to pace the Saints to a 5-2 victory over Bangor. He also had an assist. Jaden Webster and Michael Cilley also had goals in the win while Jack Ouellette had two assists and Alex Roy made 20 saves. The Rams bookended the scoring with David Brown giving Bangor a 1-0 lead while Cooper Ireland found the back of the net for the lone goal in the third period. Jake Hirsch and Liam Dougherty combined to make 23 saves for Bangor.
Edward Little 3, Falmouth 2
Wesley Clements scored twice including the game-winning goal in overtime to put the Red Eddies on top. Logan Alexander had two assists. Aaron Higgins scored with 13 seconds left for Falmouth to force overtime. Owen Drummey had the Yachtsmen’s first goal.
Lewiston 4, Thornton Academy 0
Ryan Pomerleau had a goal and an assist to lift Lewiston to a 4-0 victory over the Golden Trojans. Owen Cox, Ben St. Laurent and Evan Knowlton also found the back of the net for the Blue Devils. Daxon St. Hilaire and Mason Beaudoin each had two assists. Keegan McLaughlin made 16 saves to earn the shutout while Gage Tarbox Belanger turned aside 26 shots for Thornton.
Brunswick 2, Gorham 2
Down 2-0 after 40 minutes, the Dragons stormed back in the third period to skate to a 2-2 tie with the Rams. Nicholas Marro scored from a feed from Scout Masse while Henry Burham scored with Isaac Burtis notching the assist for Brunswick. Peter Richards scored with the helper going to Jonah Bird in the first period for Gorham. Cole Perrault found the back of the net in the second period to give the Rams a 2-0 lead. Aidan Enick had the assist. Luke Patterson and Spencer Marquis combined to make 23 saves for Brunswick while Jasper Crane stopped 18 shots for Gorham.
Greely 6, Cape Elizabeth 2
Andrew Moore sparked the Rangers with two goals in the victory over the Capers. Evan Dutil finished with a goal and three assists while Alexander Wallace had a goal and a helper in the win. Chris Williams and Ryan Moore also found the back of the net. Ben Singer made 15 saves in net for Greely. Gavin Simopolous potted a goal and a helper for Cape Elizabeth while Matthew Laughlin also scored for the Capers. Will Depke stopped 36 shots in the loss.
Cheverus 3, Yarmouth 1
Jackson Wilson potted two goals in the first period as the Stags clip the Clippers 3-1. Jack Chaput added the empty-netter and had an assist in the game. Matthew Robichaud scored for Yarmouth in the second period with William Giese and Camden Miller setting the goal up.
Houlton/Hodgdon/Greater Houlton Christian/Southern Aroostook 7, Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison/Spruce Mountain/Lawrence 3
Jason Collett scored two goals to lift Houlton/Hodgdon/GHCA/Southern Aroostook past Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison/Spruce Mountain/Lawrence. Noah Reynolds added a goal and two assists, and Jed Gilpatrick had a goal and an assist for Houlton. Elijah Neureuther, Alex Dunn and Josh McGillicuddy also scored. Coleman Watson, Marjorie Knight and Cam Jordan scored for Maranacook.
