Lewiston 5, Falmouth 4

Alex Robert’s empty net goal with 15 seconds left was the game-winner as Lewiston defeated Falmouth in a rematch of last season’s Class A State Title game. Sam Frechette also had a goal and assist in the victory. Owen and Evan Cox each had a goal for the Blue Devils while Jack Leblond also scored. Falmouth fought to the very end as Kyle Kaserman scored with 1:56 remaining and Brendan Hickey scored with four seconds left. The Yachtsmen jumped out to a 2-0 lead with Tyler Baker and Marcus Cady scoring.

Edward Little 2, Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester 1

Edward Little came back from being down 1-0 in a Class A North contest. Marius Morneau and Ben Cassidy (GWG) were the scorers for the Red Eddies. Connor Cyr put the Kings on the board with a shorthanded goal in the third period. Gavin Toussaint stopped 14 of 15 shots in the victory while Dakota Soucy stopped 25 in the losing effort.

Bangor 3, St. Dom’s 0

In a key Class A North showdown, the Rams came away with a victory. Jacob Henry made 19 saves for the shutout. Jacon Monroe had a goal and an assist to spark the offense for the Rams. David Brown and Reid Higgins also scored. Gaston Fuksa made 19 saves in the losing effort.

Marcus Cady

Falmouth 5, Portland/Deering 3

The Yachtsmen held on after jumping out to a 4-0 lead. Theo Hembre had two goals for Falmouth while Marcus Cady, Tyler Baker, and Brendan Hickey each had a goal. Don Tocci, Cam King and Joe Pichette scored for Portland/Deering.

Portland/Deering 2, Cheverus 2

Portland/Deering put Cheverus in a 2-0 deficit in the first period as Cam King and Joe Pichette scored, but the Stags responded two goals in the second period for the tie. Alex Brewer and Colin Doherty potted the goals for the Stags. Cheverus did win the shootout to determine a Mayor’s Cup winner, but the game goes down as a tie in the standings.

Lewiston 3, St. Dom’s 1

Sam Frechette tipped in a Ryan Bossie shot for the game winner against archrival St. Dom’s. He also added an insurance goal and Jack Leblond also scored for the Blue Devils. Zach Pelletier scored for the Saints. Jacob Smith stopped 12 shots in the victory while Gaston Fuksa made 28 saves for St. Dom’s.


Waterville/Winslow 4, Hampden Academy 3, OT

Cooper Hart notched the game-winner and Tom Tibbetts had a hand in all four goals with a goal and three assists for the River Hawks. Chase Wheeler and Logan Denis also scored. Marcus Dunn had a pair of goals while Cooper Leland had a goal for the Broncos.

Hampden Academy 6, Camden Hills 1

Cooper Leland, Sam Economy and Marcus Dunn had a pair of goals in the Broncos’ victory. Dunn also tallied three assists. Cooper Ryan made 23 saves in the victory. Michael Blackwell scored for Camden Hills.



Cape Elizabeth 5, Scarborough 1

Sean Agrondia paced the Capers. Gus Frankwicz had a goal and two helpers while Ryan Collins and Philip Tarling had a tally and helper apiece for Cape Elizabeth. Cam Budway broke Peter Haber’s shutout bid with 59 seconds remaining in the game. Haber only made seven saves while Brandon Wasser made 27 saves for Scarborough.

Greely 7, Falmouth 3

Matt Kramlich had a hat trick to pace the Rangers to their first ever Dudley Cup in honor of Harold Dudley, who donated the land for the Family Ice Center in Falmouth where both teams play. Jake MacDonald had a goal and three assists while Andy Moore had a goal and an assist in the victory. Ben Kennedy had a goal. Theo Hembre had two goals and had an assist on Brendan Hickey’s goal for Falmouth.
