Lewiston 7, Scarborough 1
Alex Rivet hat a natural hat trick to spark Lewiston. He also added two assists. Jeromey Rancourt had a goal and an assist. Luc Dostie, Joe Bisson and Sam Frechette also scored. Egan Bradish scored Scarborough’s only goal early in the third period.
Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse 3, South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete 2, OT
Noah Austin had a pair of goals, including the game-winner in overtime. Steven Schuman opened the scoring for the Eagles. Cade Charron made 32 saves for the victory. Atticus Patrick and Gus Lappin scored for the Red Riots (4-6-1) in the loss. Joe Grant made 26 saves.
Cheverus 5, Portland/Deering 3
The Stags jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period. Sean Walsh had a pair of goals while Luke Church, Ryan McSorley and Jess Pierce also scored for the Stags. Dom and Donato Tocci each had a goal for Portland/Deering while Miki Silva also had a goal. Jason Halvorsen made 16 saves in the victory while Sam Segal stopped 17 shots for PD.
Windham/Westbrook 4, Noble/Wells 2
Windham/Westbrook scored four unanswered goals as they came from behind. Dylan Francouer, Derek Corbett, Keegan Pock and Tommy Lekousi scored. Sean White made 27 saves for the victory. Evan Whitten and Lukas Hughes each scored for Noble/Wells while Nate Paul made 18 saves.
Waterville 6, Old Town/Orono 0
In a battle of two of the top Class B North clubs, Waterville rolled. Justin Wentworth (assist) and Matt Jolicouer each had a pair of goals. Jackson Aldrich and Andrew Rodrigue also had two points as each had a goal and an assist. Nathan Pinnette made 26 saves.
Presque Isle 4, Messalonskee 2
The Wildcats scored three times in the final stanza. Connor Demerchant had a pair of goals. Riley Kiney and Jaren Winger also had goals. Denny Young finished with three helpers while Andre Daigle stopped 38 shots in the victory. Tyler Lewis and Jacob Bernatchez put the Eagles on the board while Eli Michaud made 26 saves.
The Wildcats edged the Black Raiders as Jaren Winger notched two goals. Denny Young and Connor Demerchant finished with a goal and two assists while Thomas Patenaude finished with three helpers. Andre Daigle stopped 15 saves in the victory. For Winslow, Tommy Tibbetts had a hat trick while Tyler Martin had a goal. Ben Grenier stopped 33 shots in the losing effort.
Gardiner 3, Brewer 0
Michael Poirier had 27 saves to lead Gardiner. All three goals came in the third period as Ryan Kelley opened the scoring at the 1:23 mark. Joe Clark and Tanner Hebert each scored a shorthanded marker.
Cape Elizabeth 3, St. Dom’s 1
The Capers had three separate goal scorers and Peter Haber stopped 17 shots. Peyton Weatherbie, Sean Agrondia and James Boeschenstein were the goal scorers. Noah Toussaint scored for the Saints while Xavier Michaud made 30 saves in the losing effort.
Thornton Academy 4, Gorham 2
Chase Wescott paced Thornton with two goals and an assist. Luke Chessie had a goal and two assists while Noah Logan had a goal. Nolan Millett finished the game with two assists. Seth Dube made 12 saves in the victory. Jordan Gaudreau and Adam Peterson each had a goal for the Rams. Noah Bird stopped 21 shots
