Scarborough 8, Biddeford/Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach 3
The Red Storm scored four times in the second period to break the game open. Nolan Matthews and Zach Chaisson each potted two goals for Scarborough. The Red Storm picked up single goals from Jacob Brown, Sam Rummelhart (2 assists), Owen Denbow, and Dawson Gendreau. Bryce Pray scored twice for the Tigers while Kurtis Morin also had a goal and an assist.
Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle 5, Lake Region/Fryeburg Academy/Oxford Hills 1
Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle scored four times in the third period to break a 1-1 tie against the Ice Cats. Grayson Krause and Travis Brown each had two goals in the victory while Jordan Cantz added a goal and an assist. Brown also had an assist while Holden Anderson had two assists. Brice Micklon scored in the first period for the Ice Cats for a 1-0 lead. Porter Krause made 25 saves in the win while Bobby LeBlanc made 27 saves in the loss.
Scarborough 3, Falmouth 2
Dawson Gendreau scored a natural hat trick to lift the Red Storm past the Yachtsmen. Nolan Matthews and Cory Schular had an assist in the game for Scarborough. Charlie Adams gave Falmouth a 1-0 lead in the first period while Shawn MacDonald cut the Yachtsmen deficit to 3-2 in the third period.
Jack Keefe played the role of hero as he scored in overtime to give the Red Eddies a 1-0 win over Bangor. Reed Chapman had the assist. Edward Little goalie Gage Ducharme made 18 saves including a save on a Daniel McCarthy penalty shot at the end of regulation. Jake Hirsch made 27 saves for the Rams in the loss.
St. Dom’s 3, Biddeford/Messabesic/Old Orchard Beach 0
Lucas Pushard scored twice to lift the Saints past the Tigers 3-0. He also had an assist. Zackary Pelletier had a goal and an assist in the victory and Matthew Gosselin made 10 saves for the shutout. Gavin Sperlich made 22 saves for the Tigers.
Lewiston 8, Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle 0
Senior Kurtis Pelletier had three goals and an assist while fellow senior Ryan Pomerleau had two goals and two assists to lead the Blue Devils past the Trail Blazers on senior night. Brock Bergeron had a goal and assist for Lewiston. Damon Bossie and Sam Laroche also had goals in the win. Goalie Keegan McLaughlin made five saves in the win. Porter Krause and Issac White combined to make 35 saves in the loss for the Trail Blazers.
Lewiston 9, Bangor 0
Ryan Pomerleau scored two goals and set up another and Mason Beaudoin also had two goals to pace the Blue Devils past the Rams. Ben St. Laurent and Kurtis Pelletier contributed a goal and two assists each, and Brock Bergeron, Tyler Leger and Owen Cox also scored for Lewiston. Drew St. Hilaire had three assists, and goalie Keegan McLaughlin made nine saves for the Blue Devils. Dan McCarthy potted Bangor’s only goal and Jake Hirsh made 40 saves in the loss.
Cheverus 6, Gorham 3
Jack Chaput paced the Stags with a hat trick and an assist in the victory over the Rams. Jackson Wilson also had a big game for Cheverus as he added two goals and three assists while Kevin Connolly had a goal. Gorham had a goal in each period with Andrew Gaudreau, Cole Perreault, and Aidan Enck finding the back of the net.
Hampden Academy 3, Orono/Old Town 1
The Broncos broke a 1-1 deadlock by scoring twice in the final period. Ryan Cooper made 31 saves in the victory. Sam Economy, John Vickery and Owen Cross each had a goal in the victory. Gabe Talon scored for Orono/Old Town while Aidan Rand made 19 saves in the loss.
Messalonskee 9, Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison/Spruce Mountain/Lawrence 2
Dylan Cunningham scored four times and added an assist in the Eagles’ win over the Hawks. Bryce Crowell added two goals and an assist for Messalonskee, and Evan Hurtubise had a goal and an assist. Brady Doucette and Ben Hellen also scored. Max Thamert and Colman Watson scored for Capital Region (Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison/Spruce Mountain/Lawrence). Cam Jordan had two assists. Mitchell Grant made 28 saves for Messalonskee and Thomas Thornton and Adrian O’Connell combined to make 38 saves for the Hawks.
