The line of Liam Benson, Cody Woodward and Ben Steele each had a goal and two assists for the Red Eddies. Benson opened the scoring with 30 seconds remaining in the first period, with his two linemates picking up the assists. In the second period, Steele made it 2-0. Jason Cote stretched the lead to 3-0 early in the third, while Woodward capped off the scoring eight minutes into the period. Steele and Benson recorded the assists. Ben Feldman stopped all 15 shots he faced. Alex LeBlance stopped 30 shots for Windham/Westbrook.
Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse 5, Poland/Gray-NG/Oak Hill 2
Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse came out fast with four goals in the first five minutes. Defenseman Cam Grant led the Eagles with two goals, and fellow defenseman Ryley Austin had a goal and an assist. Tyler Halls and Sam Alexander also scored for the hosts. Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse goalie Parker Lacey made 13 saves to snag the win. Derek Belanger paced the 26ers (0-8) with a goal and an assist. Brandon Michaud also scored, while Conor and Bailey Drouin each had an assist. 26ers’ netminder Kenny Humphrey was superb in goal despite the loss, making 33 saves.
Falmouth 5, Lewiston 2
Henry Norris had two goals and an assist as the Yachtsmen defeated the Blue Devils. Lewiston had a 2-1 advantage after the first period as Alex Robert and Jeromey Rancourt scored. Norris gave the Yachtsmen the early 1-0 lead. Chris Camelio tied the game in the second while Brendan Hickey gave the Yachtsmen the 3-2 lead heading into the third period.
Bangor 5, St. Dom’s 1
Trevor DeLaite and Ben Crichton paced the Rams as each had a goal and two assists. Nick Cowperthwaite, Dan Webber and Josh Sherwood also scored in the victory. Connor Samson gave the Saints the early 1-0 lead.
Lewiston 5, Biddeford 4, OT
Kyle Morin recorded a hat trick to lead the Blue Devils. Alex Robert and Brendan Croteau also scored for the Blue Devils, as they improved to 6-1 on the season. Goaltender Jacob Strout made 13 saves. The Tigers’ offense was powered by Ricky Ruck, Brady Crepeau, Kerry Crepeau and Joey Curit, who all had goals. Tom Green made 40 saves in the losing effort.
Kennebunk 7, Leavitt 1
Donovan Connor had a hat trick as the Rams prevailed in a Class B South contest. James Ross chipped in with a goal and assists while Patrick Gassman and Nate Jewett each potted a goal and assist. William O’Neil also tallied for the Rams. Connor Cyr scored the lone goal for the Hornets.
Waterville 6, Messalonskee 5
The Purple Panthers had a two-goal effort from Justin Wentworth and Andrew Rodrigue in a crucial Class B North game. Rodrigue also had two assists. Nick Denis had a goal and assist while Matt Jolicoeur also scored. Brandon Nale had a hat trick for Messalonskee while Jared Cunningham had four points in the losing effort.
John Bapst 5, Camden Hills 3
Kodi Legassie and Tyler Wheeler each had a pair of goals in the come-from-behind victory. Camden Hills jumped out to the 3-0 lead with goals from Will Davee, and James Orne. Nate Reese put John Bapst on the board while Legassie scored his two goals to tie the game. Wheeler tallied the final two goals.
Waterville 3, Yarmouth 2
Jackson Aldrich sparked the Purple Panthers’ comeback in the second period with two goals. Michael Oliveira scored the game winner. Justin Woodworth had three helpers in the victory. Nathan Pinette made 16 saves for the victory. Walter Conrad and Patrick Grant each had a goal for Yarmouth while Dan Latham made 26 saves in the losing effort
Yarmouth 4, Thornton Academy 1
The Clippers had four different goal scorers. Patrick Grant had a goal and an assist while Anders Newberg, Chris Romano and Noah Grondin all had a goal. Nolan Millett scored for Thornton.
