Portland/Deering 4, South Portland/Waynflete/Freeport 3
Joe Pichette had a pair of goals including the game winning goal that broke a 3-3 tie to give the Portland/Deering Bulldogs a 4-3 victory over rival South Portland/Waynflete/Freeport. Joe Herboldsheimer and Walter Lewandoski also scored for the Bulldogs. Aidan Schifano and Gus Lappin each scored to tie the game at three for the Red Riots. Deven Hannan gave the Red Riots a 1-0 lead in the first period.
Lewiston 8, Scarborough 0
Alex Robert had two goals and two assists to lead Lewiston past the Red Storm. Jayden Wilson had a goal and two helpers. Chad Lynch, Dustin Larochelle, Evan Cox and Cam Dionne had a goal each in the victory. Connor Albert only needed to make six saves for the shutout. Scarborough’s Brandon Wasser made 32 saves in defeat.
St. Dom’s 4, Biddeford 1
Mack Pelletier scored twice to pace St. Dom’s. The Saints jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Pelletier and Jaden Webster. The Saints stretched the lead to 3-0 in the second period as Dominic Chasse found the back of the net. Colin Petit put Biddeford on the board. Pelletier added his second goal of the contest with an empty-netter. Gaston Fuksa made 41 saves in the victory while Owen Sullivan stopped 28 shots
Edward Little 2, Bangor 0
Ben Cassidy had both goals as Edward Little prevailed in a Class A North contest. He scored once in the second and in the third period. Ben Feldman made made 16 saves for the shutout. Zach Aldin made 16 saves for Bangor.
Edward Little 4, Gorham 1
Eli Thibodeau had a pair of goals to lead the Red Eddies past the Rams. Aaron Perkins set up both of Thibodeau’s goals also added a goal of his own in the victory while Collin Merritt had the other Red Eddies goal. Lucas Roop was the lone Ram to get a puck past EL goalie Ben Feldman who made 13 saves. Garett Babineau made 18 saves for the Rams.
Cape Elizabeth 4, St. Dom’s 2
Cape Elizabeth scored two third-period goals to defeat St. Dom’s. Ryan Collins picked up the game-winner with slightly under seven minutes to play in the game. It was his second goal of the contest. Alex Glidden had the other two goals for the Capers. Mack Pelletier and Jacob Lewis were the goal scorers for the Saints. Peter Haber only needed to make 12 saves for the Capers.
Old Town/Orono 9, Kennebec Riverhawks 2
It was a big night for Old Town/Orono’s Jacob Dubay as he recorded a hat trick and two assists againt the RiverHawks. The Black Bears also got two goals from Tyler McCannell and Sam Henderson. McConnell finished with three points as he added an assist. Ben Allen-Rahill and Tanner Evans each had a goal and a helper while Kohle Parker made 11 saves in the winning effort. John Evans scored both goals for Kennebec.
Hampden Academy 9, Messalonskee 1
Marcus Dunn factored in on seven of the nine Hampden Academy goals – four goals and three helpers – as the Broncos rolled. Cooper Leland had a hat trick while Seth Shawley and Drew Lally also had goals. Cooper Ryan made 13 saves in the victory. Dean Simpson broke Ryan’s shutout bid scoring for Messalonskee.
Presque Isle 5, Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin 3
In a tight Class B North contest, Presque came out on top as a Gage Letourneau goal with 1:34 remaining gave the Wildcats a 4-3 lead. Torey Levesque had the empty-netter. Colby Carlisle potted two goals in the victory while Riley Kinney also scored. A.J. Henderson, Nick Deluca and Jason Collett were the goal scorers for the Blackhawks.
York 9, Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison 1
Dalton McCann had a hat trick and an assist to lead York in a Class B South contest. Spencer Pickett had a goal and two assists while Jake Martin and Andrew Bertoloni each had a goal and an assist for the Wildcats. Max Pickett, Brendan Webster and Aidan Martin each had single tallies. Keegan Choate scored for the Hawks.
