Cheverus/Windham had a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over No. 2 Penobscot Pioneers on Thursday and defeated the Winslow Co-op 9-2 on Saturday. The Stags have road games against Biddeford/Thornton/Wells/Kennebunk on Wednesday, and a showdown versus Yarmouth/Freeport on Saturday.

The #2 Penobscot Pioneers started the week with a 10-2 win over the Winslow Co-op on Jan. 1 before the loss to Cheverus/Windham. They bounced back with a 7-2 win on Saturday against Falmouth/Scarborough. The Pioneers face Yarmouth/Freeport on Wednesday.

No. 3 Gorham/Bonny Eagle/Massabesic/Fryeburg/Lake Region/Westbrook breezed past York/Traip/Marshwood/Noble 7-1 on Saturday. The Rams travel for a battle with Portland/Cape Elizabeth/Deering/South Portland/Waynflete on Thursday.

No. 4 Portland/Cape Elizabeth/Deering/South Portland/Waynflete defeated the York Co-op 8-1 on Jan. 1 and Biddeford/Thornton/Wells/Kennebunk 7-5 on Thursday. The Beacons’ only game of the week is against the Gorham Co-op.

No. 5 Brunswick took out Yarmouth/Freeport with a 4-3 overtime victory on Saturday. The Dragons host Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland on Thursday.
