No. 1 Lewiston regained the top spot in the Class A poll with 3-1 win over Bangor on Friday. It was their only game of the week as their game with Thornton Academy on Wednesday was postponed until Monday. After the home game with Thornton they travel to face Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth on Tuesday.
No. 2 Falmouth moves up following a sweep of Cheverus this week with a 2-1 victory on Tuesday and a 6-4 win on Thursday. They capped their regular season off on Saturday night with a 6-2 win over St. Dom’s. Their next meaningful game won’t be until March 3 as they are currently the No. 1 seed in Class A South and would receive a bye into the regional semifinals if the standings hold.
No. 3 Cheverus drops due to the two losses to the Yachtsmen but bounced back Saturday night with a 4-3 victory over Biddeford.
No. 4 Biddeford holds steady. This week they travel to Portland/Deering on Thursday before hosting. St. Dom’s on Saturday.
No. 5 Edward Little moves up one spot with a 3-3 tie against Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth on Saturday. Their game against Yarmouth was moved to Monday because of the storm. They also host Poland/Gray New-Gloucester/Oak Hill/Leavitt on Wednesday.
No. 6 Bangor drops following a 3-2 loss to Portland/Deering Tuesday that preceded the loss to Lewiston on Friday. They host St. Dom’s on Tuesday and Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth on Friday.
No. 7 Poland/Gray New-Gloucester/Oak Hill/Leavitt had their game against Lawrence/Skowhegan/MCI postponed on Wednesday. After facing Edward Little on Wednesday they face Windham/Westbrook on the road on Saturday.
No. 8 Thornton Academy moves up a 5-1 win over Scarborough on Saturday. They face Lewiston on Monday on the road while also traveling to Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard on Wednesday and a rematch against Scarborough on Friday.
No. 9 Cony/Monmouth/Hall-Dale had a tie with Edward Little on Saturday in their lone game of the week. They host Lewiston on Tuesday and travel to Bangor on Friday.
No. 10 St. Dom’s gets back into the poll with a 1-0 win over Portland/Deering on Thursday before falling to Falmouth on Saturday. They travel to Bangor on Tuesday and Biddeford on Saturday.
