No. 1 Hampden Academy continues to pace the field. The Broncos skated to a 1-1 tie with John Bapst/MDI/Bangor Christian on Saturday. Their game versus Cony/Hall-Dale Monmouth was postponed on Thursday. The Broncos have Old Town/Orono on Monday night, Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook Wednesday and Camden Hills on Saturday. All three game are on the road.
No. 2 Greely picked up a 3-2 win over Thornton Academy in a makeup game on Tuesday. The Rangers fell, 5-3, to St. Dom’s on Wednesday night and bounced back on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Gorham. Greely hosts Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse on Thursday and travel to Yarmouth on Saturday.
No. 3 Orono/Old Town had no problem with Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison/Spruce Mountain/Lawrence on Saturday with an 8-1 victory. They have the showdown with Hampden on Monday and travel to Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth on Thursday.
No. 4 Cheverus scored a 5-0 victory over Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester on Saturday after the game against Gorham on Thursday. The Stags travel to York on Tuesday and Brunswick on Saturday.
No. 5 Presque Isle defeated Cony/Hal-Dale/Monmouth on Saturday 8-5 after its game against Gardiner was postponed on Friday. The Wildcats travel to Brewer on Wednesday.
The No. 6 Brunswick Dragons move up with a 5-3 win over Kennebunk/Wells on Saturday. The Dragons host Cheverus on Saturday.
No. 7 Gardiner started the week with a 5-1 win over Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison/Spruce Mountain/Lawrence on Tuesday. The game against Presque Isle was postponed on Friday but they defeated Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook 3-1 Saturday. The Tigers travel to Camden Hills on Wednesday and host John Bapst/MDI/Bangor Christian on Saturday.
No. 8 Camden Hills tied Waterville/Winslow on Wednesday 1-1 and lost to Brewer on Saturday 4-2. The Windjammers host Gardiner on Wednesday and Hampden Academy on Saturday.
No. 9 Gorham remains in place with the 2-0 loss to Greely Saturday. The Rams travel to Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester on Wednesday and Cape Elizabeth on Saturday
No. 10 Messalonskee stays put with a 7-5 loss to Brewer on Wednesday and defeated Waterville/Winslow 7-3 on Saturday.
