Maine Class B Poll
No. 1 Old Town/Orono remains on top despite dropping their first game of the year on Friday to Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin, 4-3 in OT, in their only game of the week. They travel to John Bapst on Monday and to Brewer on Saturday.
No. 2 Cape Elizabeth doubled up Kennebunk/Wells on Saturday 6-3. They host Yarmouth on Saturday..
No. 3 Greely had an 8-1 win over Manacook/Winthrop Madison on Tuesday and a 4-0 win over Gardiner on Saturday. They host Scarborough on Tuesday and Camden Hills on Saturday.
No. 4 Presque Isle climbs in the poll after a 7-2 win over Hampden Academy on Saturday. They travel to rival Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin on Tuesday in their lone game of the week.
No. 5 York remains in place with a 3-2 win over Brunswick on Friday in overtime. They travel to Marshwood/Traip/Sanford on Monday and to Cheveus on Thursday.
No. 6 Hampden Academy falls following its 7-2 loss to Presque Isle on Saturday. Their game against Brewer on Wednesday was moved to Valentine’s Day because of the storm. They also travel to Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin on Friday.
No. 7 Waterville/Winslow had their game with Gardiner postponed on Wednesday due to the storm. This week they host Camden Hills on Wednesday and Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin on Saturday,
No. 8 Yarmouth had their game against Edward Little moved to Monday. They defeated Kennebunk/Wells 5-0 on Thursday and defeated Camden Hills 3-0 on Saturday. In addition to traveling to EL they travel to Cape Elizabeth on Saturday.
No. 9 Gorham bumps up after a 3-0 win over Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard on Saturday. They host Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison this coming Saturday.
No. 10 Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin moves into the poll with the upset of Old Town/Orono on Friday. They host Presque Isle on Tuesday and Hampden Academy on Friday before traveling down to Colby College on Saturday to face Waterville/Winslow.
