Gorham 4, Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray New Gloucester 2

The No. 5 Gorham Rams scored three power play goals on a five-minute major en route to a 4-2 victory over the No. 4 Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray New Gloucester in a Class B South quarterfinal. The Kings opened the scoring in the first period as Reese Collins found the back of the net at 8:59 mark of the period. The lead lasted exactly two minutes when Tyler Weeks tied the game up for the Rams. During the five minute major in the second period, Tanner Garand gave Gorham the 2-1 lead. Aiden Owens and Aiden Enick stretched the lead to 4-1 with goals. Aiden Gonzalez scored in the third period for the Kings. Caleb Waterman made 26 saves for Gorham while Xavier Michaud made 27 saves for the Kings.

Brunswick 6, York 4

Jack St. Pierre helped the No. 6 Brunswick Dragons score five unanswered goals in a 6-4 upset victory over the No. 3 York Wildcats in a Class B South quarterfinal. Down 4-1 in the third period St. Pierre scored twice in a 15 second span to cut the deficit to one. Isaac Burtis tied it and Scout Masse scored the game winner. Both players also had two helpers in the win. Henry Burnham capped the scoring with 1:16 remaining in the game. Michael Eno gave Brunswick a 1-0 lead in the first period. Dalton McCann had a natural hat trick for York and assisted on Jake Nelson’s goal to make it 4-1. Spencer Marquis made 24 saves in the win while Domenic Carlson made 19 saves in the loss.

Cape Elizabeth 2, Yarmouth 0

Gavin Simopoulos had a goal and a helper to lead Cape Elizabeth to a 2-0 victory over Yarmouth in a Class B South quarterfinal. Both Capers goals came in the third period. Simopoulos scored just past the halfway mark while Phillip Tarling added an empty netter with 15 seconds left. Garrett Mello made 16 saves for the shutout while Charles Henry Watson made 27 saves in the loss.

Hampden Academy

Camden Hills 5, Hampden Academy 4

The No. 4 Camden Hills Windjammers scored three unanswered goals to come from behind to defeat the No. 5 Hampden Academy Broncos 5-4 in a Class B North quarterfinal. Bryce Tyler scored the only goal in the first period to give Windjammers a 1-0 lead. The Broncos scored four times in the second period as Cooper Leland scored twice while Khaleb Hale and Logan Christian also had tallies. Dylan Hasting scored for Camden Hills in the middle period. Nate Vanlonkhuyzen book-ended the three Windjammers goals in the third period with Tyler’s second goal of the game sandwiched in between. Jackson Bernier and William Gardner combined to make 16 saves for Camden Hills while Evan Thomas  made 31 saves for the Broncos.

Presque Isle 4, John Bapst 1

 Thomas Patenaude had a hat trick to lead the No. 3 Presque Isle Wildcats to a 4-1 over the No. 6 John Bapst Crusaders in a Class B North quarterfinal. Patenaude now has 26 goals on the season. Stephen Gilbert scored for the Crusaders. Connor DeMerchant added the fourth and final goal for the Wildcats. Andre Daigle made 30 saves for Presque Isle while Loukas Collatos made 37 saves for John Bapst.
