Everyone in Class B is chasing after the No. 1 Messalonskee Eagles.
Friday they avenged their only loss of the season when they defeated Class A Bangor, 4-2. They also picked up wins against Hampden Academy on Wednesday and Greely on Saturday. Monday they host John Bapst, Tuesday they face off against Brewer and Saturday they close out the regular season against Old/Town.
No. 5 Winslow scored an 8-4 victory over the Brewer Witches on Wednesday. This week Winslow has a rivalry game against Waterville on Wednesday and have a game against Houlton/Hodgdon on Friday.
No. 7 Waterville skated to a 3-3 tie with the Yarmouth Clippers Saturday night and faces John Bapst on Friday this week.
No. 2 Kennebunk had a big week, defeating York 7-1 on Wednesday and following it up with a 4-0 win over Maranacook/Winthrop. They face Thornton Academy on Monday and Gardiner on Saturday.
No. 3 Gorham squeaked out a 2-1 victory over Windham on Wednesday and skated to a 2-2 draw with Cape Elizabeth on Thursday. They have Greely on Monday and Yarmouth on Saturday.
No. 10 Cape Elizabeth defeated No. 4 Camden Hills 3-1 on Saturday in addition to their draw with Gorham. They have York on Saturday in a home game.
Camden was supposed to play Greely on Thursday. This week they host Gardiner on Wednesday and Maranacook/Winthrop on Saturday.
No. 6 York came back from its loss to Kennebunk on Wednesday with a 9-2 victory over Leavitt on Saturday. They have Yarmouth on Monday in a home game and travel to Cape Elizabeth for Saturday’s game.
No. 8 John Bapst defeated Orono/Old Town 3-0 on Wednesday. They were supposed to play Winslow on Saturday. In between their games against Messalonskee and Waterville on Friday they face off against Hampden Academy on Wednesday.
No. 9 Brewer defeated Presque Isle 7-2 on Friday and suffered a loss to Winslow on Wednesday. This they face Messalonskee on Tuesday, Bangor on Thursday in a neutral site game at University of Maine’s Alfond Arena.
