No. 1 Messalonskee had an unexpected week off as games this week, against Bangor and John Bapst, were postponed due to weather. They are supposed to face Bangor tonight, but that looks unlikely. They also have Hampden Academy on Wednesday and host Greely on Saturday.

In Western B, it’s more like the Wild, Wild West. No. 2 Kennebunk beat Cape Elizabeth on Wednesday, 3-1; the following night they lost to No. 10 Yarmouth, 3-2, in overtime. Saturday they skated to 0-0 tie with Greely. They have York on Wednesday and Maranacook/Winthrop/Hall-Dale on Saturday.

No. 3 York meanwhile tied Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard 5-5 on Saturday. They have Kennebunk on Wednesday and Leavitt on Saturday.

No. 4 Camden Hills defeated Leavitt on Saturday, 14-2. They travel to Greely on Thursday and host Cape Elizabeth on Saturday.

No. 5 Gorham lost 2-1 on Saturday while they visit Windham on Wednesday and Cape Elizabeth on Thursday.

Yarmouth won both games this week against Kennebunk and and Gorham. They look to ride the momentum this week against Maranacook/Winthrop/Hall-Daleon Tuesday and host Waterville on Saturday.

No. 6 Waterville won its lone game, a 3-2 victory over Hamden Academy on Saturday. In addition to their game against Yarmouth they also face Orono/Old Town on Monday.

No. 7 Winslow had games against Orono/Old Town and Presque Isle postponed. Winslow meets Brewer on Wednesday and John Bapst on Saturday this week in two key contests.

No. 8 John Bapst beat Houlton/Hodgdon 9-3 on Tuesday and had its game against Messalonskee postponed. They face Orono/Old Town on Wednesday before facing Winslow,

No. 9 Brewer lost to Hampden Academy on Wednesday 6-2. They travel to Winslow on Wednesday before hosting Presque Isle on Saturday.
