WESTERN MAINE CLASS B SEMIFINALS

 

Greely 3, Camden Hills 2

Tommy Thompson opened the scoring and had the game-winner in the victory to put the Greely Rangers into the Western Class B Regional Finals for the third straight year. Aidan Black scored the second goal for Greely. Jack Orne and Parker Lawson scored for the Camden Hills Windjammers.

Gorham 1, Kennebunk 0

Shawn Sullivan’s goal with 87 seconds left in the game put Gorham into the Class B Regional Finals in the battle of the “Rams.” Justin Broy just needed to make 18 saves for the shutout while his counterpart Mike Leblanc was also stellar making 25 saves in the loss.

 

Gorham will face Greely in the Regional Finals on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston.

 

EASTERN MAINE CLASS B SEMIFINALS

 

 Presque Isle 5, Waterville 4

Andrew Michaud scored twice including the game-winner in Presque Isle’s victory over Waterville. Cooper Madore, Tyler Seeley and Joseph Patenaude also lit the lamp for the Wildcats. Chris Lee had a tally and two helpers while teammate Nick Denis had a pair of goals and Tommy Samson also found the back of the for Waterville.

 

Messalonskee 7, John Bapst 2

The Messalonskee Eagles turned it on in the third period scoring five times in the third period. Jared Cunningham had four goals and brother Chase Cunningham had four assists to lead the Eagles. Jake Dexster scored twice while Dan Condon also had a goal. Tyler Wheeler scored for John Bapst.

 

Messalonskee will meet Presque Isle Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Alfond Arena at the University of Maine in Orono.
