No. 1 Waterville saw its chance at a perfect season fall for the second straight season to Class A Lewiston with a 7-3 loss. They bounced back with an 8-7 victory over Old Town/Orono to cap off the regular season. They have a bye into the regional semifinals where they await the Hampden Academy vs. Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin winner.
No. 2 York defeated Maranacook/Winthrop 9-1 and skated to a 4-4 tie with Cape Elizabeth. They have a bye into the regional semifinals in the South bracket. They will play either Cape Elizabeth or Yarmouth.
No. 3 Old Town/Orono bounced back from their loss to Waterville with a 4-2 victory over John Bapst. They host Camden Hills a regional quarterfinal game.
No. 4 Cape Elizabeth defeated Yarmouth 3-2 before skating to a 4-4 tie with York. They have a rematch with Yarmouth in a regional quarterfinal contest.
No. 5 Gardiner defeated Brunswick 3-1 to end the regular season. They are the No. 1 team in the South playoffs and will have a bye into the regional semifinals where they will face either Greely or Kennebunk.
No. 6 Greely picked up a big 4-1 win over Kennebunk. They get a rematch with the Rams in a regional semifinal contest.
No. 7 Hampden Academy defeated Winslow 12-1 and Presque Isle 4-2 this week. They have Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin in a regional quarterfinal game.
No. 8 Brewer defeated Messalonskee 6-1 to finish the regular season. They host Presque Isle in a regional quarterfinal game in the North bracket.
No. 9 Kennebunk started the week with a 2-2 tie with Gorham before losing to Greely.
No. 10 Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin lost to John Bapst 2-0 to end the regular season.
