No. 1 Lewiston maintains its ranking in this week’s HNIB News Maine Class A Top 7 with a 5-1 win over Biddeford/Old Orchard Beach/Massabesic. The game against Falmouth scheduled for this past  Saturday was moved to Jan. 27. The Blue Devils host Bangor on Wednesday and travel to South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete on Saturday.

Scarborough jumps to No. 2 with its 7-4 win on Saturday over No. 3 Thornton Academy. The Red Storm defeated Mt Ararat/Lisbon/Morse on Tuesday. Scarborough travels to Cape Elizabeth on Thursday and host Biddeford/Old Orchard Beach/Massabesic on Saturday.

Thornton looks to bounce back against Biddeford/Old Orchard Beach/Massabesic on Wednesday and travel to Greely on Saturday.

No. 4 St. Dom’s defeated Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle 6-3 on Wednesday. The Saints host No. 5 South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete on Wednesday in their lone game of the week.

South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete came away with a 3-2 overtime victory on Thursday. Their two games this week are against St. Dom’s and Lewiston.

No. 6 Bangor defeated rival Brewer 6-2 on Friday night. The Rams make a Southern Maine swing as they travel down to Lewiston on Wednesday and Portland/Deering on Saturday.

No. 7 Falmouth defeated Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble 5-1 on Tuesday. They travel to Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle on Wednesday.
