The No. 1 Lewiston Blue Devils remain the top team in Class A as they survived a scare from Falmouth winning 3-1 on Wednesday before dominating archrival St. Dom’s on Friday, 6-0. The Blue Devils are road warriors this week as they travel to Falmouth (Monday) for a rematch, Edward Little (Wednesday) and Scarborough (Saturday).

Speaking of No. 2 Scarborough, the Red Storm defeated Thornton Academy 3-0 on Saturday. Prior to their upcoming showdown with Lewiston, the Red Storm host St. Dom’s on Wednesday.

No. 3 South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete stays in place with a 2-1 overtime win over Biddeford/Massabesic/Old Orchard. It also fell, 6-5, in OT to Bangor. The Red Riots travel to Windham/Westbrook on Tuesday and Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble on Saturday.

No. 4 Falmouth looks to rebound against Lewiston on Monday in the rematch and hosts Thornton Academy on Thursday before traveling to Portland/Deering on Saturday.

No. 5 Thornton Academy started the week with a 4-1 win over Oxford Hills/Fryeburg Academy/Lake Region on Thursday before being shut out by Scarborough on Saturday. The Golden Trojans face Biddeford/Massabesic/Old Orchard on Tuesday, take on Falmouth on Thursday and welcome Bangor to town on Saturday.

No. 6 St. Dom’s split games with a 2-0 victory over Edward Little on Wednesday before taking the 6-0 loss to Lewiston. The Saints host Portland/Deering on Tuesday before facing Scarborough and wrap up the week hosting Yarmouth.

No. 7 Bangor enters the poll again with the win over South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete. They started the week with a 2-1 loss to Portland/Deering. The Rams host Waterville/Winslow on Wednesday before taking on Thornton Academy.
