 Biddeford 5, Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach/Bonny Eagle 2

Nick McSorley scored on the man advantage and added an assist the No. 2 seeded Biddeford Tigers defeated No. 7 seeded Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach/Bonny Eagle in a Class A South Regional quarterfinal contest. Trevor Ouellette had a goal and an assist for the Tigers. Bryce Pray picked up a goal while Nick Reissfelder also had a goal for the Tigers. Justin Larnerd  turned aside 20 shots in the win. Padraic Green and Auden Russell found the back of the net for the Mob as goaltender Gavin Sperlich mad 30 saves in the losing effort.

South Portland/Waynflete

South Portland/Waynflete/Freeport 4, Cheverus 2

Deven Hannan had book-end goals as he opened the scoring and added an empty netter for the game’s final goal as South Portland/Waynflete/Freeport defeated Cheverus in a Class A South regional quarterfinal game. South Portland/Waynflete/Freeport had a 2-0 lead after 15 minutes as Mitchell Adams also scored in the opening period. Bradley McMains gave the Red Riots a 3-0 lead in the second period. Cheverus closed the gap in the second as Colby Anton and Jackson Wilson scored to get the Stags within one. Bryson Pomerleau made 20 saves for Cheverus while Liam McGibbon made 23 saves for the Red Riots.

Portland/Deering 4, Scarborough 1

Dante Tocci had two goals and two assists as the No. 5 Portland/Deering defeated No. 4 Scarborough 4-1 in a Class A South quarterfinal game. Jake Luce had a goal and an assist in the victory while Donato Tocci had a goal. Dawson Gendreau scored for Scarborough. Ryan Becker made 11 saves in the victory while Caleb Sellinger and Peter O’Brien combined for 24 saves in the losing effort.

Class A North

Edward Little 2, Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Hyde 1

The No. 4 Edward Little Red Eddies defeated the No. 5 Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Hyde Eagles 2-1 in overtime in a Class North regional quarterfinal. After two scoreless periods, EL’s Ben Cassidy scored at 6:49 mark of the third period. The game looked like it would finish 1-0, but Cam Poisson beat the buzzer scoring with .6 seconds remaining to force overtime as the Eagles tied it at one. Cassidy set up Jack Keefe for the game winner at the 6:30 mark of the first overtime. Devon D’Auteuil made eight saves in the victory while Sean Moore made 40 saves in the losing effort.

Bangor 7, Cony/Monmouth/Hall-Dale 3

Nick Boudreau and David Brown each scored two goals as the No. 3 Bangor Rams defeated the No. 6 Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth Rams 7-3 in a Class North regional quarterfinal. Josh Sherwood Sean Hyatt and Reid Higgs also scored for Bangor. Joey Arps, Tyrell Sousa and Reed Hopkins scored for Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth.
