No. 1 Lewiston remains the lone unbeaten team in Class A with victories over rivals Edward Little and St. Dom’s this week. They beat the Red Eddies 4-1 and the Saints 3-2. They host Cheverus on Wednesday and Bangor on Friday night.
No. 2 Biddeford bounces up following a 4-2 win over South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete and an 8-1 victory over Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard this week.They host rival Thornton Academy on Saturday night
No. 3 Cheverus climbs one spot with a 3-0 victory over Scarborough on Monday and a 6-1 victory over Windham/Westbrook Saturday night. In addition to their game against Lewiston they have Cape Elizabeth on Saturday.
No. 4 Falmouth jumps up after 4-2 and 5-2 victories over Bangor. They travel down to Portland/Deering on Thursday.
No. 5 Bangor falls after the dual losses to the Yachtsmen. They face Brewer Thursday before taking on the Blue Devils on Friday.
After dropping the game against Lewiston, No. 6 Edward Little still moves up in the poll with a 5-1 victory over Cape Elizabeth on Thursday and a 4-3 win over Thornton Academy on Saturday. They host Gardiner on Wednesday and travel to Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth on Thursday. On Saturday head coach Norm Gagne faces off with his former team Scarborough.
No. 7 Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth has just the single contest with EL.
No. 8 Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester suffered a 4-3 loss to Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse in their lone game of the week. They have St. Dom’s on Wednesday.
No. 9 Portland/Deering had a 4-3 win over Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard on Monday and a 4-0 win over Scarborough on Saturday. In addition to hosting Falmouth on Thursday, they face South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete on Saturday.
No. 10 South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete sneaks into the poll despite losing to Biddeford on Monday and Marshwood/Traip/Sanford on Thursday. They defeated Kennebunk/Wells 9-3 on Saturday.
