It was a light week in terms of regular season games with holiday tournaments and Mother Nature playing a role.

No. 1 Lewiston maintains the top spot as they dispatched the Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse Eagles, 13-3. They host Bangor on Wednesday and Cony/Monmouth/Hall-Dale Saturday.

No. 4 Bangor spent this past week across the Androscoggin River in Auburn as part of the St. Dominic Academy Christmas Tournament. The Rams dropped their first game of the year with a 3-1 loss to St. Dom’s. In addition to going to Lewiston on Wednesday, they host Portland/Deering.

No. 3 St. Dom’s only regular-season game of the week was the 3-1 win over Bangor. Northwest Catholic of Connecticut won the St. Dominic Academy Christmas Classic. The Saints host Edward Little on Saturday.

No. 2 Falmouth had the week off and faces Greely in its lone game this week on Monday.

No. 5 Scarborough picked up its first win of the season over Cheverus with a 3-0 shutout. This is a busy week for them as they host No. 10 Thornton Academy Monday, travel to Edward Little on Wednesday and host Gorham on Saturday.

No. 8 Portland/Deering had the week off from Maine action and they face Cheverus on Monday, and South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete on Wednesday before heading up to Bangor on Saturday.

No. 9 Cheverus also has South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete on Saturday.

No. 6 Biddeford defeated Thornton Academy on Saturday 3-0. They face Noble/Wells on Wednesday and host the York Wildcats on Saturday.

No. 7 Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth hosts the Windham/Westbrook Eagles on Wednesday before travelling to Lewiston on Saturday.

Thornton’s lone game the upcoming week is against Scarborough.
