No. 1 Lewiston defeated Cheverus 5-1 in their lone game of the week. They have a rivalry contest Monday afternoon at Edward Little before hosting Gardiner on Wednesday and traveling back across the bridge to Auburn for another rivalry game against St. Dom’s on Saturday.
No. 2 Bangor got revenge on Edward Little on Friday with a 3-2 victory. The Red Eddies earlier handed the Rams their lone loss of the season to date. They have a pair of games against Falmouth as they make the trip down south on Monday and the Yachtsmen make the trip up north to Bangor on Friday.
No. 3 Biddeford moves up with a 4-3 victory over Falmouth on Wednesday. They have South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete on Monday and Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard on Saturday with both games at home.
No. 4 Cheverus drops down with the loss to Lewiston but had a 2-1 overtime win over Thornton Academy on Monday and on Saturday night they had a 7-3 victory over Portland/Deering. This week they host Scarborough on Monday and Windham/Westbrook on Saturday.
Despite the loss to Biddeford, No. 5 Falmouth remains in place. They have the pair of games against Bangor this week.
No. 6 Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth moves up with a 5-2 victory over Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse on Wednesday and skated to a 3-3 tie with the No. 2 team in Class B, Cape Elizabeth. The Rams travel to St. Dom’s on Wednesday before hosting Lawrence/Skowhegan/MCI on Saturday.
No. 7 Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester gets back in the Top 10 with a 3-2 win over Brunswick on Wednesday. Their contest with Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison was postponed on Saturday. They have Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse on Tuesday.
No. 8 Edward Little drops two spots with the close loss to Bangor. In addition to hosting Lewiston Monday, they welcome Cape Elizabeth on Thursday and travel to Thornton Academy on Saturday.
No. 9 Portland/Deering drops as they tied Yarmouth 3-3 on Thursday before falling to Cheverus on Saturday. They travel to Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard on Monday before welcoming Scarborough to Portland on Saturday.
No. 10 Thornton Academy rounds out the Top 10 with the loss to Cheverus. They are currenly on a 12-day break and return to action on Saturday as they welcome Edward Little.
