Still no changes at the top of the HNIB News Maine Class A poll as No. 1 Lewiston took care of business this week with a 7-3 victory over Biddeford on Wednesday and a 9-2 victory over Thornton Academy on Saturday. They travel up to Bangor Friday in their lone game of the week.

No. 2 Falmouth defeated Portland/Deering 7-2 Saturday in their lone game of the week. They have a showdown against Cheverus on Tuesday and Thornton Academy on Saturday. Both of those games are at home.

No. 3 Cheverus took care of business with a 7-1 victory over Noble/Wells and a key 3-2 victory over Scarborough on Saturday. They have Thornton on Thursday and Biddeford on Saturday in addition to their game against Cheverus.

The loss to Lewiston was No. 4 Biddeford’s lone game of the week. They have Edward Little on Wednesday before traveling to Cheverus on Saturday.

No. 5 Bangor dropped a 3-0 game to Brewer on Wednesday and bounced back to defeat Cape Elizabeth 7-2. They host St. Dom’s on Wednesday and Lewiston Friday.

No. 6 Scarborough only had Cheverus this week. They host Portland/Deering on Friday in their lone game of the week.

No. 7 Portland/Deering had their game against Thornton postponed on Thursday before falling to Falmouth on Saturday 7-2. Right now the only game of the week for them is against Scarborough.

No. 8 Cony/Monmouth/Hall-Dale lost to Gardiner 2-1 on Thursday in their lone game of the week. They hope to get back on track with a game against Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse on Tuesday before facing St. Dom’s on Saturday.

No. 9 St. Dom’s had its game against Yarmouth postponed until Monday and that looks like it may be postponed again. They defeated Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill/Leavitt 4-1 on Saturday. They also have Bangor and Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth this week.

No. 10 Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard defeated Windham/Westbrook 4-1 on Wednesday and Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse 7-4 on Saturday. They host Noble/Wells on Friday.
