EVERETT (9-10-1)

Increased offensive production and solid team defense will be keys this year for the Crimson Tide and second-year coach Jason Lawrence. Everett just missed a post-season berth a year ago.

A good nucleus of forwards returns in senior Ray Suppa (34 pts), senior J.J. McLaughlin (22 pts) and junior Mark Faia (27 pts). They should put up some good numbers again.

Junior Jack MacLaughlin anchors the blue line group, which could welcome newcomer Nick Snook to the fold.

New head coach Mark Cabral expects all three teams in the GBL to contend for the title. He feels the Highlanders have a strong defensive core to work with.

The blue line will be held together by seniors Corey McLashing and James Mackrokanis. Two freshmen hoping to have impacts on defense are Shayne Murphy and Nolan Roche.

Senior Devon Alves is a returning forward. Freshman Chris DeSousa hopes to contribute. A returning varsity goaltender is junior Kyle Lentini.
