Three more wins for #1 Williston (20-0-0), including a 1-0 win over #2 Phillips Andover (19-2-0) in their showdown, keeps the Wildcats at #1 in this week’s HNIB News Girls Prep Top 15.

Williston did have a scare, however, needing overtime to slip past upset-minded Choate, 2-1. Northfield is up next (Wednesday) and then a tough one with #9 Loomis Chaffee on Saturday.

It doesn’t get any easier for Andover, which hosts #3 Nobles (20-3-2) on Wednesday. The Big Blue then have #15 Worcester Academy on Saturday.

Nobles won all three of its games last week, beating #11 Groton (16-3-1), 5-1, BB&N, 2-1, and Hill School, 2-1. After Andover, the ‘Dawgs get Thayer on Friday and then #5 Tabor (15-3-2) on Saturday.

#4 Kent (15-3-0) picked up wins over Canterbury and Millbrook and host Hotchkiss on Wednesday.

Tabor had shutout wins over Middlesex (4-0) and Governors Acadeamy (2-0) sandwiched around a 1-1 standoff with #6 St. Paul’s (12-8-1). The Seawolves get BB&N on Wednesday.

St. Paul’s, which also had a win over Northfield Mt. Hermon, is at #12 Exeter (10-6-0) on Wednesday.

#7 Dexter Southfield (14-4-2) knocked off Winchendon (4-0) and Austin Prep (4-2) and has now won five straight. A big week includes #13 New Hampton (15-9-0) and #10 Cushing (13-9-3).

Wins over St. Mark’s (5-2) and Middlesex (5-1) brings Milton Academy (13-6-10 up a spot to #8. The Mustangs look ahead to St. George’s (Wednesday) and Brooks (Saturday) this week.

#9 Loomis Chaffee (12-6-2) is on a roll, now having won six straight after wins over Cushing (3-0) and Choate (5-1). The Pelicans have their eyes on Williston this weekend, but before host Pomfret Wednesday.

Cushing will see Deerfield Wednesday and Pomfet Saturday. The Penguins did have a wild 7-7 tie with Lawrence Academy last week.
