The top four in this week’s HNIB News Girls Prep Top 15 hold firm as the regular season enters its final week.

#1 Williston (18-1-0) continued to be dominant, chalking up wins over Northfield (6-0) and Loomis Chaffee (6-1) with a well-balanced scoring attack. The Wildcats finish with Deerfield (Wednesday), Winchendon (Friday) and BB&N (Saturday).

#2 Nobles (21-0-3) had a banner week that included big wins over #3 Tabor (12-4-4) and #6 Andover (12-3-4), sandwiched around a 5-2 conquest of Thayer that included four, third period goals by Emma O’Leary. The ‘Dawgs also have three games remaining: Dexter Southfield (Tuesday), Governor’s Academy (Wednesday) and Milton (Saturday).

Tabor also had a 3-3 standoff with BB&N and closes with St. George’s (Wednesday) and Berkshire (Saturday).

#4 Cushing (16-5-3) followed a tie Deerfield with wins over Dexter Southfield (6-1) and Pomfret (6-0). Hoosac (Wednesday) and Choate (Saturday) finish the regular season for the Penguins.

#5 St. Paul’s (14-5-1) rolled off wins over Exeter, Tilton and Winchendon and closes up with Proctor Wednesday.

Loomis Chaffee (Wednesday) and rival Exeter (Saturday) are left on Andover’s schedule. The Big Blue had a win (3-1) over Worcester Academy.

Kent (10-5-2) jumps up to #7. The Lions edged Hotchkiss (2-1) this week and will see Frederick Gunn School (Wednesday) and Westminster (Saturday),

#8 Vermont Academy (17-2-2) defeated Holderness (4-2), Kimball Union (2-0) and Portsmouth Abbey (5-0), and had a tie with Frederick Gunn (3-3). The Wildcats get Brewster Academy on Wednesday.

#9 Loomis Chaffee (13-4-4) had a great start to the week with wins over Deerfield (6-0) and Pomfret (8-1) before running into Williston. The Pelicans, who finish with Deerfield, will be a tough opponent in the post-season.

New Hampton (14-8-2) is up to #10 this week after rattling off wins over Dexter Southfield (4-3), Northfield (7-1) and Brewster Academy (4-2). The Huskies face Kimball Union on Wednesday.

Rounding out the top ten are #11 Dexter Southfield (12-4-2), #12 Choate (10-8-4), #13 Hotchkiss (7-7-1), #14 BB&N (9-9-3) and #15 Brooks (12-8-3).
