There was no shake-up this week in the top five of the HNIB News Girls Prep Top 15, but some considerable shuffling in the rest of the pack.

All eyes will be on Andover this Saturday when the Big Blue host Williston in a showdown of the top two teams. It could have been a battle of two teams with perfect records, but #5 Tabor had something to say about that, knocking off Andover 5-3 last Wednesday.

#1 Williston (17-0-0) still has to get by Choate (Wednesday) and Westminster (Friday) before focusing on Andover. In their only action last week, the Wildcats blanked Taft, 7-0.

#2 Andover (18-1-0) responded nicely after the loss with solid wins over ranked teams New Hampton (5-1) and Milton Academy (4-0). They host #15 Austin Prep (14-3-3) on Wednesday.

#3 Nobles (17-3-2) beat St. George’s (3-0) and Brooks (2-0), but was tied up by #8 Cushing in a scoreless deadlock as Penguins goaltender Lily Prendergast made 48 saves. The ‘Dawgs have an interesting matchup Wednesday with #11 Groton (15-2-1), and also face BB&N (Friday) and Hill School (Saturday).

#4 Kent (13-3-0) downed Choate (5-1). The Lions get Canterbury (Wednesday) and Millbrook (Saturday).

#5 Tabor (13-3-1) is playing solid hockey, following up the big win over Andover with a 5-1 conquest of St. Mark’s. The Seawolves also beat Milton Academy (2-1). They look ahead to Middlesex (Wednesday), St. Paul’s (Friday) and Governors Academy (Saturday).

Prior to the Tabor game, #6 St. Paul’s (11-8-0) will see Northfield Wednesday. St. Paul’s knocked off New Hampton 6-3 this past week.

#7 Dexter Southfield (12-4-2) had a solid week, with wins over Exeter (4-0) and St. Mark’s (4-1). Winchendon is up on Wednesday, and then Austin Prep Saturday.

#8 Cushing (13-8-2) makes a jump up after tying Nobles, and knocking off New Hampton (2-1). The Penguins have a big week facing Lawrence Academy (Wednesday), Loomis Chaffee (Friday) and Northfield (Saturday).

#9 Milton Academy (11-6-1) drops after losses to Tabor, Lawrence Academy and Andover. The Mustangs did beat BB&N and look to St. Mark’s Wednesday.

#10 Loomis Chaffee (10-6-2) is back in the Top 10 with wins over Westminster (3-0) and Frederick Gunn School (8-3). After facing Cushing, the Pelicans get Choate on Saturday.
