Girls Prep Top 15
The Nobles (15-0-0) train keeps on rolling along, as the Bulldawgs won three more games in workman-like fashion, downing Rivers (3-1), Middlesex (4-1) and Berkshire (4-0). Winchendon (Wednesday) and Exeter (Saturday) will try to put a dent in Nobles this week.
#2 Tabor (10-0-0) played just once this week, and the Seawolves were given all they could handle with Brooks, needing to rally in the third period for a 6-4 win. Thayer provides Wednesday’s opposition and then a key contest Saturday with Loomis Chaffee.
#3 Williston (10-3-0) won a pair of low-scoring one-goal games, edging Berkshire (1-0) and St. Mark’s (2-1). After taking on improved Dexter Southfield on Wednesday, a huge battle Saturday with #4 Kent (7-3-1) loom Saturday.
The Lions won a pair of games, beating Gunnery (5-2) and rival #5 Loomis Chaffee (7-4-1) by a 1-0 count.
The Pelicans have a busy week, including a tough one with #10 Westminster (10-3-0) on Monday. Also on tap is a Wednesday date with Taft.
#6 St. Paul’s (9-3-0) got its revenge on #7 BB&N (9-2-0), taking a 6-2 win. The Pelicans also fell in a wild one to #9 Phillips Andover (7-4-0). Lakes Division foes Kimball Union (Friday) and #11 Vermont Academy (Saturday).
#8 Rivers (8-2-0) gave Nobles a battle in that 3-1 loss, and the Redwings also took a 4-1 win over Winchendon
